‘Whispering Oaks’ Cottage with Lake Access, Outdoor Fire Pit and More!

Overall it was a nice place - but there is definitely not enough room to sleep eight people. The pull out sofa in the pictures does not match the actual sofa - which is more like a child's day bed. We managed but it was not what we expected.The place is nicely done - plumbing, AC, washer/dryer, dishwasher all worked well.

Property was as described. Inside was clean. Check in was easy and cabin was well-appointed with supplies. Just wish the outdoor seating areas had been a bit cleaner. We had to use a broom to get off cobwebs, leaves, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

(Thumb vacation Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The cottage was clean and the bedrooms were all large. The recliners in the living room were nice. We weren’t a big fan of the loveseat sleeper for sitting as there were 4 adults and it’s very firm. Plenty of room for kids to run around outside. It is a bit of a walk to the beach area and down a slope. Due to an elderly person we had with us, we opted to use the county park beach which is large and only a mile or so away.Overall it was a nice stay.Btw- not sure why but there was no hot water in the main bathroom sink. Wasn’t a huge deal for us, but in case someone wants to check out why.
