Pickalbatros Aqua Blu Resort - Hurghada

We spent 8 days at the resort. And we have very good time. A lot activity for all people. Kids. Grown up A lot of entertainment everyday something new Variety of food suits all appetites. The crew and service are superb. I will visit pickalbatros over and over again E Gerges

Fantastic hotel , the staff are amazing and keep the place in a very clean state . A great choice of pools to choose from and you will never go thirsty as the bar staff especially Arafat will keep you topped up . Entertainment is put on most evenings .

We were really pleased with the hotel and facilities. Great experience and the hotel is amazing!!! The food is really amazing and really varied... People are very friendly and polite. A highly recommend it. Best time ever!!!

I am so disappointed from the start of my holiday to the very last day. Spent 2 weeks here will not be returning. We arrived at the hotel at 12.30 at night, checked in, and had to wait for the bell boy to help us with our luggage. We had to carry our suitcases up three flights of stairs, we was told that once settled, we could go and get something to eat in one of the restaurants, myself and my mother went to look for something to eat at one of the restaurants but they was closed so we went back to reception to ask which one we could eat in the guy behind the desk gave us a piece of paper with writing on to take down to the restaurant, we explained to them that they was closed no-one was there we then got told very abruptly to wait. We was very tired at this point we had a long day traveling so we just went back to our room. The room was OK not the best the furniture in the room was very dated and falling apart the door for the cupboard that the fridge freezer was in didn't even close. Anyway we are now back in the room having failed to find something to eat we look in the fridge three bottles of water two of which had been open, coffee and tea making facilities but no milk we just called it a night at this point. Woke up the next morning and went to the main restaurant for breakfast we filled three water bottles up with juice because we had nothing in the hotel room, on leaving the restaurant we got pulled and shouted at for doing this we got told we wasn't allowed even tho throughout this holiday we have seen people leaving the restaurants with plates of bread, fruit, chips, burgers etc. The food is absolutely shocking if you a fussy eater then don't bother coming here, I will trying anything to eat and have really struggled, every day is the same, food court pizza, burgers, chips, chicken nuggets, even tho there is a stand for sandwiches never had them. The entertainment is shocking it's the same thing most nights dancing, apart from a Thursday I think it was they had fire breathing and a Sunday they had an acrobatics show. The staff in the lobby bar are lovely very polite. The hotel is very dated the tiles are all cracked the walls are dirty and all marked. We really looked forward to coming here working all year to get two weeks away and it was a total failure.

Great family hotel, so many pools, slides, water activities, always found loungers where we wanted them, food was great, room and grounds spotless and cleaned daily, staff incredible and made the holiday wonderful. All in all a brilliant holiday, family of 4, 2 kids 7 & 9... will be back for sure!

Staff were so polite a helpful and kind. Hotel was absolutely spotless. Amazingly wide range of food for everyone. Breakfast pancakes are DELICIOUS. Kids entertainment every night. Very friendly atmosphere overall from staff and hotel

Just came back from an amazing 11 nights at this hotel. So I'll start with a couple of negatives, (in my opinion). There is one little place to get a small tub of ice cream that is a long walk. This is the only place across all 3 hotels. By the time you walk back to your bed it's melted and it's only open during certain times. The wave pool is only on once or twice a day and is hardly a wave. Kids pirate pool and other slide pools close for a couple of hours during the day so abit disappointing if the kids are having a good time. Only 1 toaster in the restaurant for everyone to use and takes about 5 goes to get some colour on the bread. We mainly had omelette everyday with a pastry. They don't do beans mushrooms ect which ok we are in a different country so have to adapt. The alcohol is not great so would buy your own if you like a good tipple. Entertainment was on the dull side same sort of things most nights. Not alot going on during the day either. Positives, All the staff are super friendly and are always happy, they will go above and beyond to get you anything. Our hotel taxi driver Hussain amazing. Always on time and had such a good laugh. The cleaner was also amazing, he made something new out of the towels everyday and my lad couldn't wait to go back to the room to see what was waiting. The pool party and foam party was good, worth going to that. All in all had an amazing holiday, To all the staff that work so hard, thank you!

Amazing resort, lots to do, something for everyone, friendly staff and great accommodation! If I had to be picky I’d say the food in the main restaurant was sometimes average and the free Al la carte wasn’t for me but these are minor points. The staff were great, especially around the pool, and they worked so hard to make sure we were always happy. If given the opportunity I’d definitely return!

We are currently on holiday at the aqua blu hotel On arrival we were greeted warmly by the reception staff & taken to our room. Our room is extremely nice and spacious The beds are extremely comfortable & the bedding is very good Our room looks out onto the garden and is very quiet at night The food at the three restaurants offers a wide choice and the food which will suit most people's appetite Every area of the hotel is absolutely spotless and the staff are constantly making sure the hotel is clean Mohammed at the melody pool bar made sure we kept hydrated with copious amount of water and fruit drinks and always had a smile on his face It's was my partners birthday & the hotel went above and beyond to make her day special This was our first time at the Aqua blu hotel and we will definitely book again for next year A huge thank you to all the staff at the Aqua blu Ethan and June And a special thank you to the Room service team Clean sheets and towels every day and our room absolutely spotless Many thanks Ethan and June
