Hotel Royal Lagoons Aqua Park Resort & Spa attracts tourists with a lower price compared to other five-star hotels. The main advantage of this hotel is its nice rooms, but that's the only thing the hotel can boast about. The hotel lobby combined with a bar makes it very difficult to find a free chair and the reception is crowded all day long. The lobby bar serves drinks (including alcoholic drinks) in plastic cups, it rarely happened that the bartenders found a couple of glassware. One day the mineral water had a yellow tint, the waiter claimed that it was the fault of the device, but I didn't dare to drink it. The restaurant is modest even by Egyptian standards. The meals are monotonous, the fruit is in a very poor assortment. Some tables are equipped with cloth napkins, and the rest, due to their lack, with paper napkins. But the biggest sore point is the lack of coffee and tea machines. Tourists are at the mercy of waiters who, taking their time, bring jugs of strongly brewed tea and coffee. The hotel prohibits the reservation of sunbeds, and meanwhile, instead of cleaning the pools, the hotel staff carries a lot of towels first thing in the morning and, in exchange for tips, throws them on the sunbeds both by the pool and on the beach. Tourists are transported to the hotel beach in very dilapidated buses with bruised and cut seats and poor cleanliness. The lack of care for order is visible at every step, the access road to the beach is strewn with plastic bottles and cups. The beach also leaves much to be desired: It is sandy and pebbly, the sunbeds are very old and wooden and require replacement, the mattresses are torn, as are the screens. The booth, which should be a changing room, is in a terrible mess and no one cares. There is a lack of sparkling mineral water in the bars on the beach and in the pool. To sum up, I do not recommend this hotel, sometimes it is better to buy a slightly more expensive offer, but with a much higher standard.
