Brand new 5 bedroom house on top of a mountain with central air and a great view. We love the views and the quiet surroundings. Guests compliment the windows and the open design of the house. Enjoy the first floor primary suite with direct access to the large deck to enjoy your morning coffee. We designed and built this house to capture the mountain top views. The views from the Great Room, Loft, Balcony and Deck all prove that you are on top of a mountain. Each bedroom facing the rear of the house has large windows to capture the vista. Use the open kitchen or the outdoor grill to prepare meals. Take in the stars by our firepit with ample firewood provided. Sit on the deck or front porch to enjoy a drink and relax. Explore the 27 acre property using the hiking trails. Sit around our 12' long table or around the island to enjoy the meals you cook in our well equipped kitchen or on the grill. Take a 15 minute drive to the Tatman Run beach or boat ramp access Raystown Lake. Explore the Balanced Rock or fish for trout at Trough Creek State Park. Pizza, ice cream and groceries are available by a 20 minute drive to Saxton. In the fall you will enjoy spectacular scenes as the leaves turn. We provide all linens, towels, a fully equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, a large gas range and spacious island. Gas grill and plenty of firewood for fire pits will be provided.
