Very clean & friendly & kind &  helpful staff , great view of the city , great value for money , very kind & helpful owner & very good size room & highly recommended

This is an amazing place to stay for all traveler types. You can travel here solo or with family/friends. Upon arrival, I was checked into my room. Jimmy (the owner) gave a warm welcome along with a gift. The room was comfortable and clean. It even had a balcony where you can sit and overlook the whole city. Jimmy and his staff are very kind. They provided excellent service, and the breakfast was tasty and nutritious. The city doesn’t have the best transportation, but Jimmy was kind enough to drive me into the city and pick me up whenever I was finished. When I checked out, I was given a box of tea—a wonderful gift for the upcoming Chinese New Year. All in all, I would rate this place a 12/10. It’s not only a place to stay, but it made me feel right at home. The plus side is the cute dog, Ao Hua. She is friendly and playful.

The owner and staffs are very warm and friendly, do let them know when you are coming. The boss is very nice and send me to Hua Lien Train station. The stay is very spacious and they provide sumptuous and healthy breakfast. There's a cute dog also (: The stay is at a hill, so if can, do buy something back in case you are hungry. It's been a great stay!(:

It is such a perfect spot with wonderful staff. They are dedicated to make your stay a memorable one. The food was amazing. They even give you gifts and will if you are tired, they will make sure you have a nice dinner on the house. I would recommend this place to everyone that comes to Hualein. The owner is so committed and kind. He would gladly offer rides to and from the train station and help you with anything you need. Perfect stay. Clean as well. Just wonderful and outstanding!

Host was very friendly and welcoming. He drove us around city area and recommended us local places to eat which is alot cheaper and nicer. Have a cute and nice dog to play with there, ah hua😅 Room was clean, neat and nice, HUMONGOUS, with wonderful views. The host even cooked breakfast for us and gave us gifts upon arrival 🥲 Had a good chat with him on how i can modify my mini cooper but after that i realised it is not legal in singapore 🤦♂️ Highly recommended and would return back there if i am back at hua lien. U may even get free room upgrades if there is availability🫣

I would like to commend the owner for being generous and never forget his promise to the filipina that helped him in his business. Thank you so much, we enjoyed our stay and we slept very well. Great host and all the staff are incredibly helpful and generous. They even drove to the station to bring me my hat which i had left in my room by accident. The view is great and food portions are large. Room is spacious and clean. Best hotel I stayed in in Taiwan.

This amazing mountainside bed and breakfast is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Our room had a spectacular view of the city and a nice porch. I later found out the owner had upgraded us to the best room for free since it was empty. Incredible hotel and customer service! We arrived tired after hiking around Toroko Gorge and didn’t want to get a taxi to go to the city to get food. We were going to eat some bread we had with us, but they made us a big pot of delicious noodle soup and didn’t charge us anything! Breakfast was yummy traditional ********* food. They also let us do laundry there for free. The owner gave me his phone number and offered to drive us into town whenever we needed. He said he likes to welcome his guests like friends who are visiting from out of town. My daughter loved playing with the hotel dog, Ahua, and kittens. Just walking around the hotel, you can enjoy fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery. What an incredible stay. So much cheaper and more relaxing than Taipei. I am telling all my friends. I can’t wait to come back!

great city view with ********* breakfast

Fabulous stay. Love the quiet, serene ambience although there are sounds of dogs and animals which is common in nature. The host, Mr Zhang is so warm and helpful that we felt treated like old friends coming for a visit. There is a dog and many cats in the house but non threatening. They make themselves scarce, somehow if guests are afraid of them. As the BnB is up on the mountain, it’s easier to get around if there a car. The host goes out of his way to help and provide advice on where to go and how to get there. Perfect host! The only room with twin beds is the family room for four. The other room is spacious to with king or queen beds. A good place for a retreat.

房間升級了，非常大和舒服。 貼身的服務，到火车站接火车，途中还建议以后俩天的活动，听房东说，去租车，决定非常正确 早餐平淡但丰富，足够一天活动，俩天还不一样。 山腰的位置，可以让人忘记一下，工作的烦恼

民宿在半山腰上,房間寬大採光充足,有店狗相迎,晚上能有吉安夜景與太平洋的日初相伴,家常早餐好吃又用心,能用實惠的價格住到高品質的民宿很開心,也謝謝老闆的伴手禮
