The views from the property and our room were stunning. The bed was the most comfortable that we had in our tour of South Africa and the hospitality shown us by Derek and Lilien was warm and friendly. Our stay was towards the end of the season so a few housekeeping matters needs attention but this did not in any way detract from our enjoyment of our stay. Hout Bay is a nice town with a lovely beach and to approach it along Chapmans Peak Drive, as we did, was a highlight of our holiday.

This place is a wonderfull experience and a perfect spot to explore the Cape town area. Nice rooms, luxery lounge, breakfast space, terrace and a very nice pool area! If the place is fully booked parking becomes a challenge and needs a bit of driving skills as most people come woth 4x4 jeeps! All in all a very nice and luxary place, only advice to the management is spend some money and time on keeping up with the maintenance.

Stayed here for 5 days in March. Excellent position for us as family live just down the road. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and bed comfy. Breakfast’s were good and freshly cooked. Unfortunately there was no air conditioner in our room and no fan available . There was no water available in the fridge and when we asked for some bottled water, we’re told they didn’t have any! surely this should have been a basic requirement? The shower was also in the bedroom, which wasn’t really ideal Just a few basic improvements would have improved our stay greatly

This is one of my favorite destinations. It's a true home from home experience. Warm and welcoming friendly staff. Lovely Breakfasts stunning views. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended. There are also family rooms. Tranquility on another level
