"Đây là lần tôi quay lại nhà trọ này và tôi phải nói rằng tôi đã thất vọng. Lần trước, trên một nền tảng khác, tôi đã cho nơi này 8/10 điểm, nhưng giờ tôi nghĩ mình đã quá hào phóng.
Bên cạnh việc mỉm cười, nhưng nhân viên nói tiếng Anh không tốt (và nụ cười không phải lúc nào cũng giải quyết được vấn đề như một hành động có hiểu biết), và giá cả phải chăng, thật khó để tìm thấy tất cả những lợi ích mà tôi nghĩ nhà trọ này có.
Máy làm nóng nước không hoạt động, nhưng thậm chí nước uống lạnh cũng không có sẵn - tôi đã phải yêu cầu nhân viên 3 lần để có người đổ đầy máy. Nhưng sáng hôm sau lại hết nước - đáng lẽ phải có một hệ thống tại chỗ và không nên trông chờ vào việc khách hàng chạy đến nhân viên để sửa khi bình nước cạn.
Tôi nói là chạy đến vì hiếm khi có người ở quầy lễ tân. Họ có thể đang dọn phòng (chúc may mắn trong việc tìm kiếm), nhưng thành thật mà nói, phòng không sạch đến vậy. Sàn nhà đang cầu nguyện để lau, bụi trong quạt phòng tắm cũng muốn rời đi... thậm chí còn có một vết bẩn rõ ràng trên ga trải giường của tôi khi tôi nhận phòng, nhưng nhân viên đã thay ga trải giường n*** lập tức (có thể họ đã phát hiện ra khi họ đang dọn giường lần đầu tiên?
Tủ đựng đồ không hoạt động, vì vậy nhân viên phải dùng dao để mở nó ra. Nơi lưu trữ khác cũng đầy vụn, tôi cho rằng nó không nằm trong danh sách vệ sinh quá thường xuyên.
Điều hòa trong phòng dường như không hoạt động bình thường. Luôn có cảm giác nhiệt độ quá lạnh, cho dù bộ điều nhiệt được cố định ở mức 18 hay 25 độ C, bạn vẫn bị lạnh cóng n*** cả khi không cởi chăn.
Rèm che riêng tư vẫn trong suốt (?), và cửa phòng đóng lại rất ồn.
Vòi hoa sen chỉ là mưa phùn - áp lực nước không đáp ứng được các yêu cầu cơ bản. Trong lần tắm đầu tiên, nước thậm chí còn không ấm. Tôi bước vào lần thứ hai, nơi lò sưởi hoạt động tốt hơn, nhưng bạn không thể tắm trong khi nước hầu như chỉ nhỏ giọt vào người bạn.
Nhìn chung, vẫn còn nhiều nhà trọ khác có giá tương tự ở Phuket nhưng cung cấp dịch vụ tốt hơn."

"We were very pleased. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff member were especially top-notch. The room was on the 4th floor, and he was incredibly helpful with carrying luggage. we extend my sincere thanks to him. The location is superb. The room was large and had a sea view. The cleanliness was superb, and everything I needed was left in the room in abundance. We would definitely stay again. I highly recommend it."

The standout feature was undoubtedly the customer service. From the initial booking online, through an urgent last-minute change I had to make, to after-hours queries, the team was consistently responsive, helpful, and polite. The seamless support made me feel like there was always someone on standby, providing a sense of great security and convenience rarely experienced.
Perfectly Located for Convenience & Leisure
The location is a major asset. It perfectly balances convenience and quiet. Everything you need is within easy walking distance: a 7-11 for essentials, a pharmacy, a fruit shop, diverse restaurants, and even the beach. Yet, despite this accessibility, the property itself is situated in a peaceful area ensuring a restful night's sleep—a combination that is often hard to find.
Impeccably Equipped for both Short or Long Stay
The apartment itself was very clean throughout. It is clearly designed for guests who need to live, not just visit. Key highlights include:
· Full Kitchen: A full set of kitchenware was provided, along with thoughtful extras like dishwashing liquid. It truly felt like a functional home kitchen.
· Laundry Essentials: The in-unit laundry was a major plus, and the provision of laundry powder and softener was a delightful, practical touch. The inclusion of a clothes drying rack solved the everyday chore effortlessly.
· Spacious Layout: The big wardrobe offered ample storage, and the separate living area was spacious and comfortable, making extended stays perfectly relaxing.

This hotel excels in understanding the needs of its guests. It goes beyond the basics by providing a spotless, fully-equipped home-away-from-home, backed by a truly exceptional and proactive service team. 22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later).
But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform.
Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this.
A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq !
Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste.
Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong
There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine.
Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature).
While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order.
But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny.
Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.”
After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime.
This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol.
I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high?
In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out.
I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average.
P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

EEkaterina.TI really like that hostel and booked it for the second time. The place is the best, everything is really near. I lived in the room for 6. Beds are private, clean and comfortable
I have to notice: due to the air con timetable it may be really hot inside the room from 10 to 16, like 30+ degrees. Actually I'm ok with it, but for someone it can be difficult
The shower is good, there is hot water, it's clean and I haven't seen any insects at all. One bed is really near the toilet, but I had a different one
I also liked the kitchen, common balcony and pool zone. Noone actually uses it, but it's lovely to sit near
I only have one complain: phone is not working, I couldn't contact reception. Once I forgot my key (my bad, but) and had to wait 5 hours outside until someone comes. I think someone should be available on the phone for emergencies. I checked if the phone available the next day, but it wasn't
In general I love the place and would stay longer
