I stayed at the 2-bedroom suite for one night. Room is very spacious, but there are some disappointments.
We checked in at 7:30 pm, only to find out that the reception was already closed. Apparently, we were supposed to send a copy of our passport and pay the key deposit a day in advance to receive the access code for self-check-in. We had to drive to another nearby location to retrieve the key using the code. Another Australian guest mentioned that the hotel had called him in advance as a reminder, but since my phone number is not Australian, no one contacted me. In the end, I had to spend 20 minutes on an expensive international call to reach the hotel staff and get the key, but the Chinese staff on the phone is helpful.
Additionally, the room had a strong smell of disinfectant, and the hotel was located right next to a busy road, making it very noisy in the morning due to traffic. At around 9am, a cleaner unexpectedly used a key to open our room door, as if trying to rush us out. They claimed it was a mistake and that they thought the room was empty. Then, just 15 minutes later, another cleaner did the same thing—opening our door without permission. How could they make such a mistake twice? Shouldn’t they verify whether a room is occupied before entering? It felt like a serious invasion of privacy, and the overall experience was very disappointing.
