Great place to stay if you're visiting The Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, Belterra Casino or just wanting to get away from the city to enjoy the outdoors. Once you walk inside you'll notice the wood burning stove and the open floor plan. Watch the deer, turkey and rabbits browsing in the field. Take a stroll on one of the many trails on the 20-acre Classified Forest or if the outdoorsman/outdoorswoman peaks an interest go for a hunt (for an extra fee). To address the less than 5 star reviews:-A new water system, water filtration and toilet was installed in October 2022.-The gravel driveway is graded regularly and was just graded as of Oct 10th. About pets:Pets allowed: limit 2 total.$40 per pet. Additional fees if pet ruins anything.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:If you break it, ruin it, or steal it. You pay for it or any damages. That goes for linens, furniture ect....Do not bring more guests/pets than are listed in reservation. If you're wanting to get away from the city, visit family, enjoy the outdoors or a place to stay while going to Ark Encounter, Creation Musem or after visiting one of the Casino's, this is the place. Our little cabin is quiet and cozy. Watch the deer and turkey browsing in the field just before dusk. Take a stroll through the many trails throughout the 30-acres. You will be amazed a the stunning sunrise and/or sunsets. Unfortunately we do not allow any guest's to walk the full 30-acres of the property from September 15th to December 15th due to deer hunting season. Please do not cross the creek behind the cabin and 100 yards on either side of the cabin for your safety.
