Two Brickground was originally two of a terrace of four brick makers cottages - where many of the bricks in the local villages were produced. The four cottages were converted to create two large semi detached cottages. We are 100 yards from the River Ant - where the bricks were transported by barge to the rest of the county.The cottage has a very large Lounge/ Dining room with a gorgeous woodburner, a separate kitchen/breakfast room, 5 bedrooms (one downstairs) and 3 bathrooms (one en-suite and one downstairs). The best feature of the cottage though is the outside space. There is a very large patio with furniture and a barbecue plus around half an acre of garden - surrounded by farmland. Nestled amongst fields on the edge of the peaceful Norfolk Broads village of Dilham just 8 miles from the North Norfolk coast, No. 2 Brick Kiln Barns is one of a small collection of 4 dog friendly barn conversions. No. 2 has two fully enclosed outdoor areas. Step out of the french doors from the open plan living space onto the south facing patio fully enclosed by 3ft fencing and enjoy the open field views with a coffee, or access the south-west facing lawned garden from the hallway to soak in the sunset from the private hot tub. The two outside areas are joined by gated access so you can always keep your pooch and children in sight. No. 2 also benefits from gated access to our additional field (not fenced) perfect for zoomies! No. 2 has its own dedicated parking space approximately 20 metres from the entrance and we have provided a wheeled trolley to help with the luggage. Please enquire about additional parking.The dog and family friendly village pub serving food is a 10 minute (flat) stroll away and you can pick up groceries in the local towns of Wroxham, North Walsham and Stalham offering a choice of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers along with cafes, bars, restaurants, and takeaways that will deliver. The Norfolk Broads start at the end of the driveway where you can fish or launch your own canoe or paddle board, the stunning North Norfolk Coast is just 8 miles away offering a choice of dog friendly beaches, and the city of Norwich is 14 miles away. For walking you can access the Weaver's Way and the North Walsham and Dilham Canal footpath from the village and Bacton Wood offering off lead shady walks is a 10 min drive. We welcome children and up to 2 dogs (enquire about more).We can also supply travel cot, highchair, baby bath and shower stool.Hot tub: Please note that in line with Health & Safety Executive Guidelines the hot tub is completely drained, cleaned, refilled and reheating between each set of guests and whilst we cannot guarantee that it will be up to temperature and ready to use on your first night we can guarantee you will be the only people to sit in that water. As featured in Norfolk Magazine 1/03/2017 *Fayes Fabulous Farmhouse* The Norfolk Farmhouse is a large detached Georgian Farmhouse which dates back to the 1800's.It is perfectly located for exploring the North Norfolk Coast with plenty of coastal resorts within easy reach.This beautifully presented Farmhouse provides perfect accommodation for families, get togethers and larger groups. We have 2 pet bunnies living free range in the garden so can’t take pets.The spaceThe house boasts large, high ceilinged rooms and two reception rooms both with wood burners and comfy sofas. There's also a wood-burner in the formal dining room. If you are bringing children...there is a toy cupboard full of toys, board games and books. In the large conservatory, there is a bench full of garden toys for use in the walled, private garden. The large decking has comfy outdoor sofas, and in the summer a charcoal BBQ for guests to use. The kitchen has a large granite island with stools and a large booth with a table. There is an electric Aga with a two ring hob. There are French doors from the kitchen leading onto the decking and the garden.All the bedrooms are very spacious and will take a fold up bed or camp bed if you wish to bring for the odd extra guest. The bedrooms have mainly king size beds apart from the twin room, one double and the master bedroom which has a Super King size bed. All have top of the range Hypnos mattresses and are beautifully decorated. There is one bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed and a downstairs loo which is ideal for any guests that may struggle with stairs. Extra accommodation, The Barnhouse, is next door if you are looking for an extra 3 bedrooms, it’s sleeps 6. Ask about availability. We have pet bunnies living free range in the garden so we can’t accept dogs.The hot tub is ready to use on guests arrival. The house has its very own Treatment Room and sauna next door where guests can enjoy Spa treatments, massage and facial during their stay. ( exclusively for female guests ) - Ask to book your appointment and pay on the day. There is parking for up to 5/6 cars on the drive at the front of the house.The nearest pub is The Gunton Arms, located on a 1000 acre deer park, 2 miles away which serves excellent food. The popular market towns of North Walsham, 2 miles, and Aylsham, 4 miles, offer shops and supermarkets, (Waitrose, is 2 miles away). We also have Sainburys and Lidl in North Walsham and Tesco in Aylsham). We are close to the beautiful North Norfolk beaches. The seaside resort of Cromer is a ten minute drive and Mundesley, 7 miles away, has a wide sandy beach. There are excellent walking and cycle routes available from the doorstep, whilst a footpath beside the church leads to Bryant’s Heath, a popular local beauty spot and a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. Wroxham, capital of the Broads, is 13 miles, with its daily boat hire, river trips and riverside shops and cafés, or visit the Georgian market town of Holt.Please note there is a minimum of a 4 night stay during the Christmas and New Year period.I always leave a welcome pack for guests so you can have a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of wine when you arrive.Sorry - We don't take pets.Please don’t park on the grass.Guest accessGuests have access to the entire house, garden and decking, perfect for a bbq. There is a charcoal bbq on the decking in summer. Please bring your own charcoal. Guests do not have access to the courtyard with the sauna and pizza oven. This is only used for guests on our retreats.Other things to noteI leave some kindling, and logs for a couple of days. Lovely self-contained, single-storey barn in North Norfolk. Wood burning stove, dishwasher and washing machine, underfloor heating, top of the range Hypnos beds and good showers! One en-suite on the master bedroom and one family bathroom. Good WiFi. Smart tv’s in 2/3 bedrooms. 15 mins from Cromer beach. Great for families, birders and coastal lovers. Well behaved dogs welcome. Please note there are 2 steps up to the Barnhouse door and it is a gravel drive way. Travel cots and high chairs available on request. The Barn sits on the owners grounds.The spaceGuests have their own parking and a small patio area outside the main bedroom with a table and six chairs as in the photos. Please note: There is not an enclosed space to let your dog out on its own. The Barnhouse has two step up to the barn door and it is a gravel driveway.Other things to noteThe blind in the living room opens and closes.
