Situated on a plot that enjoys far reaching views of the idyllic countryside, the property is just a 10-minute drive from The Peak District National Park in one direction, and Alton Towers the same journey time in the other. The cottage can be also booked in conjunction with its two neighbouring cottages; The Den, which is also for two people and The Coach House, which accommodates four. Dine inside or out on your own private deck, maybe having prepared something special on the BBQ, whilst taking in the views over the paddock to the hills beyond.As the sun sets, slip into the luxurious Rotospa hot tub* and while away the evening under the stars, spending quality time with the one you love. When sleep calls, head to the attractive bedroom with its sumptuous super-king-size bed, Smart TV and ensuite facilities, including feature tiles and sleek walk-in shower. All single storey. A cottage full of character in the small village of Hognaston. A pub, The Red Lion, is 50 meters away for refreshment and meals. There is walking straight from Station Cottage, whether it be around the nearby fields or the 2km to Carsington Water and its large childrens playground, watersports, shops and restaurants. The 12km circuit of Carsington Water is ideal for biking, walking or running and is an easy to follow traffic-free trail. Station Cottage has 4 bedrooms, and can sleep 9 adults plus 2 little ones in cots. All linen and towels are provided. And the kitchen has most, if not all, utensils you require to cook for yourself.
