I recommend this hostel, staff very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Take the airport bus to Chunxi Road and then take the Metro from Chunxi Rd Station to just one stop away Xinnamen Station. Make sure you come out at the right exit. You can see the hostel as you come out. The room is spacious! There is a roof garden and a nice lounge area. P.S. Google map does not work in China. Download MAPS.ME. Also download Wechat - you text in English they translate to Chinese and vice versa.

Good location. Staff didn’t speak english. Host dog was cute. Room was clean and comfortable.

Lovely gaff this one. Staff are helpful to foreign guests and they have a nice reception area, with a lovely big dog.

Thus is the best hostel in Hohhot and they accept foreigners. I am a solo hiker I only needed to stay 1 night but they continuously allowed me to return and rest and use their bathroom. Truly a great place! They will help you arrange yours. They have 2 dogs who are lovely 🥰. Highly recommended.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at in China. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the space is cozy, and they even have lovely doggos and a kickass movie room. A+

Lemongo (Lantern) Youth Hostel provided exactly what my friend and I had been looking for during our trip though Inner Mongolia: a sense of community. While we had initially only booked one night, we were welcomed so warmly and enthusiastically by the hotel staff on the night of our arrival after a difficult travel day from Hailar, Hulunbuir that we decided to extend our stay at the hostel by two nights (for which the owner gave us a discount along with free breakfast). They were great in providing recommendations for where to eat and organizing a driver to take us out on a day trip to Laoniuwan 老牛湾 to see the Yellow River and the canyons where Inner Mongolia and Shanxi meet. The amenities were fantastic, including thoughtful nightlights that lit up automatically in case one needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hostel to any other foreigners passing through Hohhot. You will not be disappointed!

This is an excellent hostel. The owner and staff are very helpful and are happy to answer any questions you might have about your trip. The rooms are clean and big. Good Chinese breakfast. Very close to the metro.

Fantastic hotel with staff who are very friendly. If you're on a budget and need a room for the night - this place has some great facilities! Make sure you sign the wall in the foyer with a marker before leaving also!

Close to train station but far from all sightseeing points. Staff don't speak English and is not very helpful. I expect more from the international hostel, it would be great if the y can have any contacts/information that helps to organise trips outside the Hohhot.

總體來説，還行，服務態度很好，辦理入住和退房手續都很快。房間面積不算太大，收拾的井井有條。晚上睡覺總體來説還算安靜。不過，空調有滋滋聲響，床品的質量也需要提高。
