This is a fantastic hotel just across from the town on the river. Our room was huge with a balcony and we had a lovely castle view. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was very spacious and the room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast room was overlooking the river and the choice of food was fine and very fresh. Parking was right out front. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

Amazing view over river looking out to the castle and German side, modern clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Very reasonable rate for suite with balcony. There is a spa which is very high standard. The hotel does not have a restaurant but they serve breakfast daily. Love this hotel will be back.

The hotel is located next to the river Salzach and directly across from the Bavarian town of Burghausen. Excellent view of the town especially when it is lit up at night. Easy 10 minutes walk into the town. Nice modern clean rooms and good breakfast buffet. Free parking is a plus.

Wonderful, family-type hotel with a charming staff and excellent views of the castle from river side rooms. Breakfast is good (they will fry eggs perfectly if you prefer them to scrambled) and sauna / spa area is also very nice with a scenic terrance. My room's shower was a bit small but that's a minor point when the multi-adjustable spa rain showers are available. The hotel is a short, scenic walk across the river from Burghausen's old town. Would love to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at burgblick. Can’t say it’s perfect but no issues at all. If I were to be picky I could say that the room is nice but slightly a 1990 vibe with lots of yellow and orange colors. Just a preference. Everything was clean and nice and the staff were nice too. Unfortunately for us the stingy Germans have turned off the night lights on the castle so that kills the majority of the reason to stay here.

Das Zimmer war wunderschön, die Aussicht auf die Burg ganz toll, das Frühstücksbuffet im Hotel Burgblick einfach herrlich. Das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Damen vom Frühstücksraum auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Haben dieses Hotel im Rahmen der Burgweihnacht besucht. Ein wirklich extrem herzlicher Empfang! Bis zum Check-out wurde die Herzlichkeit fortgesetzt, egal mit wem vom Personal man Kontakt hatte! Einfach wunderbar, danke! Unser Zimmer mit unglaublichen Blick auf die Burg. Toll! Für uns, als Allergiker, ein kleines Problem der Teppich. Der Wellnessbereich sehr schön und fein und wieder die tolle Aussicht! Leider war das Dampfbad defekt. Frühstück in einem sehr schön, gestalteten Raum, wieder mit tollen Ausblick! Tische sehr ansprechend gedeckt, sogar mit speziell, gefalteten Servietten. Sehr guter Kaffee wurde nach freier Auswahl serviert. Auch das Buffet wurde regelmäßig nachgefüllt. Ausreichend Parkplatz gratis beim Hotel. Zusätzliches plus! Gerne und jederzeit sofort wieder!

Soggiorno di quattro notti presso Hotel Burgblick, location molto suggestiva con vista della città vecchia e castello. Buone le camere come i servizi, colazione e Spa. Parcheggio adiacente gratuito. Si sente solamente la mancanza di un punto ristoro interno.

Das Hotel hat einen schönen Burgblick und liegt direkt an der Salzach. Das Design ist modern aber man sieht schon an einigen Ecken, dass es bereits ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Das Zimmer war für eine Familie sehr beengt und es war unerträglich warm. Für ein Paar absolut ok. Klimaanlage ist leider nicht vorhanden. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Insgesamt ist mir das Hotel Burgblick als recht „gut“ in Erinnerung - aber sehr gut fanden wir es nicht! (nur befriedigend war es aber auch nicht, daher hier ein „sehr gut“, das aber eigentlich nur ein „gut“ ist). Anm.: Hat mit dem Hotel nichts zu tun: Der Weg in den Ort ist zwar nicht weit aber etwas „beengt“ - man muss durch eine recht befahrene enge Gasse ohne Bürgersteig zur Brücke laufen! Mit Kleinkind eher beschwerlich!
