The cat encounter is absolutely outstanding. Wildcat, Caracal, Serval and Cheetah. The guides also take great pictures of you with Cheetah. You get to go into meet with Wildcat, Serval and one of the Cheetahs. Great experience. We had great time there. Must do if visiting this area.

This was an amazing experience!! Everyone from the ground staff, cleaners, waitrons, kitchen staff to Pieter, Jerry and most of all Stiaan were happy and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The hiking trails were wonderful the atmosphere was GREAT. Night time fires and guest interactions were excellent. Meeting the cats was on my bucket list and I achieved a huge cheetah purr...... heart warming and beautiful. THANK YOU to everyone involved ..... loved every minute.

The room was large but quite uncomfortable with old cheap furniture - a bit of decoration would work wonders. Spacious bathroom without the chance to place your toiletries… a bit pricey for what you get.Very helpful staff und flexible cook for dietary requirements.

What a wonderful place. Everything is beautiful and the staff is exceptional. The work you do and the incredible love for your cats is heartwarming and makes one feel that there is indeed hope for the future of our animals. May you be blessed and continue to do this very selfless job. Emdoneni is special.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Emdoneni Lodge! The staff treated us with exceptional hospitality, making our experience truly memorable. The lodge offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with comfortable accommodations and exciting activities. We had so much fun and felt completely at home. We’ll definitely be returning to this gem of a lodge!

Two couples greatly enjoyed the three night package with two cat tours, hippo tour, and elephant interaction. Loved seeing the cats, but Rambo the crossed-tusked elephant stole the show. Lodge and staff were delightful. Felt like we had the place to ourselves!

We have had a wonderfull stay at Emdoneni, the service was excellent, staff super friendly! The rooms are very clean and with all comfort. We would recommend this lodge any time if you would like to visit St. Lucia or the National Park Hluhluwe Imfolozi. All in driving distance. Excursions and or safari can be booked through the lodge and is well arranged. The rehabilitation center tour is very nice and in a walking distance on the location of the lodge. We have had a lovely stay!

We spent our honeymoon at Emdoneni & loved everything about the place. From the time we arrived we were made to feel so special by the friendly & helpful staff. Our room was perfect & so cosy. Being so close to the Cheetahs was amazing & walking through the lodge grounds amongst the zebras & other wild animals was amazing. The food was divine & they catered to all our needs. Thank you for making our honeymoon that little more extra special. We will definetely be visiting again & recommend it to everyone looking to be close to nature but yet feel at home.
