Sugar Creek Inn & Suites

This place is awesome.was traveling from Colorado to alabama was having a hard day due to it was 1 yr since my dad passed. Got to hotel and young guy got me checked in and was very professional. Gave me $10 in play and $10 for food. Great deal guys. Security came in this little electric car, which is so cool. Very social able. Then got to customer service to get card and the ladies were great. Machines were little tight or maybe I was just not on a lucky streek for awhile. Then found a machine and started hitting good. Bartender came to get drink order. We'll there you do pay for your drinks not free. But it was ok. Got done playing and went and ordered food to go. Great food and good portions. Talk with bartender for awhile which she was awesome. Got ride back to hotel and driver was great. I just want to thank all the people that made a very depressing day turn into a happy one. Sorry bad at names. I will be back to this place.

I booked this hotel for two night. Check in was easy. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel, just somewhere confortable to stay a few nigjts. The 2nd day around noon the electricity went off. Needless to say I just went to sleep shortly after dark. They offered to refund the night so that I could go somewhere else however, there is only this hotel in the town. I am not from the area and was very close to my destination so I decided to stay. The electric did not get restored until the middle of the night. They said there was a contractor working on it and it had been in the plans for a few months and the contractor could not find the part they needed to repair it. My issue is, it should not have even been turned off until the parts were visible to do the repair. They were fair and did refund the 2nd night.
