Thambili Cabanas

As you open the gates to the Thambili Cabana, you are met with beautiful well maintained grounds, an inviting pool, a lovely seating area and a tranquil yoga space. The rooms are lovely, like the grounds they are well kept and clean, with towels and beach towels provided. The team there were very helpful and respectful. It is a little close to the train line and the trains could be heard from the room, however I would say that the train can be heard from most places in Hikkaduwa due to the track running through Hikkaduwa. The Cabanas are a very short distance to the beach, which In this part of Hikkaduwa is quiet, but not too much of a walk to busier bars and shops. There is no option to book breakfast at the Thambili Cabanas , just a few metres down the road on the opposite side is the Thambili Cafe, they have an excellent breakfast and all day menu, try the fresh juices, the are delicious, my favourite has got to be the Papaya, passion fruit and ginger. The is in a great location on the beach, stay a while longer and chill on the sun Lounge’s. The team there are very helpful.

Absolutely amazing place, so friendly stuff, big, clean and super comfy rooms. Just 1min away from the beach. Nice swimmingpool, beautifull garden. From top rooms sea view to the Indian Ocean! Breakfast was great. Totally privacy and you can jut enjoy. Absolutely recommend this place :)
