The hotel's proximity to the Asahidake Visitor Centre, which is highly informative (I spent an hour there), and the ropeway to Mount Asahidake makes it an ideal choice for nature enthusiasts and hikers. The room was spacious, featuring a modern and minimalistic design that provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. My family particularly enjoyed the bath, and the attention to detail in the provided pajamas added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. While the buffet spread for both breakfast and dinner wasn't exactly fantastic, it was good enough to satisfy most guests. The variety was adequate, though there is room for improvement in terms of the selection offered. One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to the sounds of nature and the gentle breeze. The hotel's location is perfect for those looking to trek, hike, or simply enjoy the natural beauty of Daisetsuzan National Park. Overall, Higashikawa Asahidake Onsen Hotel Bear Monte offers a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the area, with spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and a prime location near key attractions. Service is fine, facilities is fine, food is fine, overall is fine and expectable.

Incredible service and beautiful, quiet hotel with rooms that make you feel like home! We even met a ezo red fox while driving down the mountain from the hotel.

位置很好，步行一兩百米就是旭岳纜車的地方，隔壁就是回旭川和機場的班車，餐食也很棒，服務也很好，還幫我升級了房間！

位置極好，離纜車站走路幾分鐘，66路車設有一站，十分方便。房間很大，非常舒服，餐食、温泉、服務都不錯

酒店位置優越, 鄰近旭岳纜車站, 登山真的很方便! 房間有上下兩層, 十分整潔舒適, 浴室乾淨可以安心使用! 晚餐和早餐是自助餐形式也很不錯! 酒店大部份的服務員都有禮親切, 服務週到, 下次再次到訪都會選擇入住這間酒店!

สบายๆกับบรรยากาศ ใส่ใจเรื่องอาหารดี ถ้าจะมาเดินอุทยาน และมาถึงช่วงบ่าย พักอยู่ประมาณ 2 คืน กำลังดี เหมาะกับการมาเดิน อุทยาน ใกล้กระเช้าขึ้นอุทยาน เดินไปใกล้ๆ ส่วนออนเซ็นปกติ ธรรมดา แช่สบายๆ มีแต่ onsen ภายใน ไม่มี onsen outdoor

房間超大超舒服，標房60多平米，在日本的酒店裡是超綱的。新裝修的温泉酒店，離纜車入口步行5分鐘，絕對是來旭岳大雪山的不二選擇。缺點有兩個：1.作為含早和晚的酒店，早餐晚餐菜品從不換，吃到後來沒胃口。2.總感受到一個印度裔的男服務員對中國人地歧視…盯着你的一舉一動，讓人感覺很不舒服。更有一次，在自助餐的餐食看到一根頭髮，超級倒胃口！

此酒店於2022年新裝修，入住時感覺設計新穎而有格調，房間十分大，非常寬敞舒適，所有傢俬是新添置，極之有style。房間寬敞很適合冬季滑雪人士使用。 酒店設有溫泉，設計優雅及豐富多樣的大雪山相關書籍，是享受養生及悠閒的好地方！ 住宿包含自助早餐及晚餐，非常豐富，特別喜愛供應北海道出產的野菜和蜜瓜，非常新鮮美味。 酒店還有免費飲品及洗衣乾衣服務，非常正！

We really enjoyed our 4 nights, in a beautifully appointed room. The onsen was excellent. The area around the hotel is great if you love to hike in the forest. We went up the rope way but unfortunately the weather was not conducive to walking. This place must be magic in the winter for the snow sports. The buffet was really good, but it doesn’t change. The staff are very personable. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

Stunning room in the best location for climbing Mt. Asahidake. In winter it must be even better. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food varied and really good. The onsen baths were very good as well. I could have easily stayed a week and not gotten bored.

After getting caught in a real downpour at the top of the ropeway, I really appreciated the onsen. The gentlemen at the front desk, who seems to be there 16 hours a day, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. For a buffet, which I tend not to like, this one was pretty good. There are not a lot of options in Asahidake, but you can be very happy here.

This little spa town is one of the few access points for the national park, and probably with the best day hike. If you want to stay locally, this hotel is perfectly located (beware of onsen hotels near Hagoromo falls - it's been partially abandoned in a post-apocalyptic way). The stylish and comfortable rooms are enormous, and it has a beautiful second floor library/sitting area for weather watching. The actual onsen is a bit average, as is the food (but there are no other dining options). Western breakfast was weak, although dinner choices were broadly fine. In short, it's not the best onsen luxury experience ever, but very practical as a base for the park.
