Hotel Serenidad

Best little gem in Mulege. Old school hotel with food, bar and a pool. Feb was a bit cold but the hotel lit fires at night and the atmosphere was super charming. Beds were very firm so beware. Don't expect a 5 star hotel on this one. Expect friendly staff, GOOD OL' Mexican charm and clean decent rooms. Full bar and they serve breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Very convenient! Located on a landing ***** where John Wayne and Frank Sinatra would privatly fly into. Loved this little get away. Very charming.

We had heard about this hotel and its Saturday pig roast for a while so we decided to stop with friends. After checking into our overpriced and dated room we went to get tickets for the dinner. It was $25 each, which we thought was a bit high but suppose to be all you can eat. It included a small margarita. Once we bought the tickets the girl at the desk showed us which table was ours. They had started serving at 4pm and it was about 4:20. We asked her if we can eat a bit later and she said yes. We asked several times if there will be plenty of food? Oh yes, was the reply. How late do you serve, until 9 or 10. We asked one more time about enough food and were told yes. So we sat by the pool and could see the people who had already gone through with plates piled high. We went to eat at 5:30pm When we got in line the ribs were down to 3, two of which had not meat. There was some chicken, beans, tamales and salad. We thought surely there would be more ribs coming out as they were still selling people tickets. Very dishonest in my opinion. When my husband went back and asked they said no the ribs were gone. We complained to one of the servers when he asked how it was and said sorry but nothing more. No one tried to make it right. My husband was trying to find the manager, but he seemed busy with the people who went through first with about 5-10 rib bones piled on the plates. Needless to say it put a damper on our last night of an otherwise fun trip down Baja. Since they take reservations for the dinner they should know how many people are there and should not be giving out all the food in the first half an hour and continue to sell tickets. I will be telling everyone I know not to go there under any circumstances. We have traveled all over Baja the past 30 years and have never encountered something this bad.

My first stray here was in 1999. Not much has changed. Still good. The room was clean, food was good especially the Saturday night pig roast. Internet service was iffy and you will need to do without or tap a hotspot. The rooms do not have heat. Only a hand full of rooms have a fireplace and you will want one of those if here in the winter.

I gave a deposit on Friday cancelled the next day 8 days before the stay and the kept the deposit claiming they needed 15 day notice. There is no written receipt policy. This establishment seems dishonest. I was never told 15 day notice. Stay Elsewhere

El hotel se encontraba en buena ubicación, tiene aparcamiento propio, tiene amplias instalaciones y bastante bien cuidadas, pero la habitación nos la encontramos bastante sucia y son bastante antiguas. El colchon es muy firme y las sábanas muy suaves

Sinceramente el mejor hotel de mulege. Quedé totalmente encantada 😊 limpieza al mil . El personal wao super amables todos . La comida riquísima alberca muy grande y limpia. Amplio estacionamiento. HABITACIONES MUY LIMPIAS.

Las mejores Margaritas!!!! Gran servicio, pequeños espacio que dan la impresión de estar en total privacidad, a pesar de estar en el gran salón. Disfruté mucho aún en clima frío. Admirar el paisaje del amanecer desde ahí, es sin duda, saber que Dios nos dice: “es hora de levantarse” ❣️

El hotel es bueno, sus instalaciones tienen un atmosfera vintage pero en general, el servicio, el restaurante y las instalaciones son buenas, regresaria a hospedarme aqui de nuevo sin pensarlo, lo disfrutamos mi familia y yo!
