The Agents House, Bed & Breakfast

What a wonderful B&B! Fiona and James are terrific hosts providing a very high standard of service and comfort. From the welcoming cup of tea to our departure everything worked perfectly. Very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, with good shower,the tea/coffee tray exceptionally well stocked, the breakfast choices were imaginative and for an evening meal there is a busy pub 150 yards down the road. Fiona was really helpful posting a phone we had left behind back to us.i would love to stay there again.

The welcome was warm from the beginning, even before we arrived we were asked if they could book dinner locally for us. Beautifully decored rooms with everything you need. Comfy beds and we had a wonderful view and a balcony to enjoy the sunsets on. The breakfasts were excellent and as a vegetarian I was not only well catered for, but James and Fiona went the extra mile to make me something tasty to start the day off perfectly. Great to meet the four legged hosts too! A really lovely place to stay and we will be back and highly recommend.

It was the perfect place for me to unwind from some recent life stresses. Very quiet area, lovely walks and great hosts. Exquisite breakfasts every morning, cool bar and excellent accommodation. Nothing was to much trouble for James and Fiona. Every little touch made for an enjoyable, result break. Highly recommended.

Another great stay with really lovely hosts. Absolutely lovely breakfasts. Lovely gardens to relax in the sun. Rooms are very clean and very comfortable. Well worth the return visit. Will come back again soon. Ideally placed to visit surrounding area.

Fiona & James are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble without being intrusive on your stay. House and location is stunning and surrounding area will not disappoint All fixtures and fittings in The Agents Office were to a very high standard, with a great small kitchen area if you wanted to cook, we didn't, choosing instead go to the pub across the road. Very comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom, quality bedlinen and towels. Comfy lounge chairs and use of outside garden bar if you wanted it. Breakfast was very well cooked with quality ingredients, I have never see such a selection of cereals. Supplies in the room were plentiful and of good quality.

we stayed in the self catering Coach House for 3 nights while we were on a fishing trip.... The accomodation is excellent, finished to a high spec and very comfortable...we did pop over for a cooked breakfast on our last morning and this agin was excellent. It was also a pleasure to meet the hosts James and Fiona.... great hosts and lovely people as well!! overall it was just excellent in everyway 10/10... oh and we had a good time in The Boat pub with the locals too! We will defo be back ! thankyou Phil and Terry

The Agents House is nothing short of incredible! My wife and I have stayed in many different lovely hotels and B&Bs and none of them have compared to The Agents House. We stayed here for one night while road tripping through England and couldn’t have been happier with our stay and wish we would have stayed much longer. The location is perfect, it’s in a nice and quiet area with the best views and scenery around. The room was huge, very clean, and extremely comfortable (with the best shower of all time). There’s a nice little pub (The Boat Inn) a few feet down the road which was ideal for not having to drive and just relax. The breakfast was spectacular with wonderful options that were all delicious. The highlight still was probably the two dogs Pablo Escobark and Lola, made the trip complete. There is no way to recommend staying at The Agents House more!

A wonderful stay! Everything perfect for a relaxing break. Wonderful facilities and the most comfortable bed. A delicious breakfast and the log burner made the room so cosy after a trip to the local pub. Such friendly hosts. We’ll stay longer next time.

The attention to detail was amazing and the history of the house and furniture was an unexpected bonus! The breakfast was stellar with a wide selection we could choose from each day. The room was very big & comfortable with a bonus fireplace & kitchenette. Fiona and James had great recommendations for dinner and places to visit. I also loved their three kitties and two dogs. Even though it seemed remote there were so many sites to see. My favorite was the Church of Saint Issui Patricio. A must see if you’re not intimidated by extremely narrow roadways.
