VOYA Boutique Hotel

Our stay at Voya was just amazing, with the high level of service provided by the receptionists, waiters and watchmen! Each member of staff does their job to the fullest and one can easily see how passionate they are of their job. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is beautifully decorated. Breakfast and food is delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Havana ☝️

What you first notice when pulling in is the architecture and care put into stunning hotel. But the service is what sets it apart! Everyone was so nice and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping to bartenders. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and the cocktails by the garden pool were the best! It is absolutely a wonderful retreat and perfect place to stay in Havana.

The Voya Boutique Hotel is truly one-of-a-kind. As you step out of your Taxi, a smiling, handsomely dressed Doorman, greets and escorts us to the entrance as he opens the front door, you step into a beautifully appointed lobby, filled a warm apricot glow. The high ceilings and splendid lighting create a dreamy atmosphere. The attentive service begins as the receptionists, dressed in all red, greet us. After a seamless check-in, our bags are whisked away, as are we, to the serene patio at the back of the mansion, for refreshment and meeting with the rest of our musical group. The drinks and appetizers are delicious. We are shown upstairs to our large suite, again high ceilings throughout, with French doors opening from the living room and the bedroom onto a large balcony overlooking the patio we just left. From here the pool looks like a little gem and the decorative and string lights take on a magical air. We are in Havana at last. Our sparkling clean rooms and bath are luxurious yet comfortable. In the morning we head down for breakfast, served either in the Brasserie, dining room area or the patio. Perfectly minced melons and other fruits in the shape of a small souffle mold are served first, and then a piece of black slate is used to display a variety of cheeses and hams along with a basket of the most perfect looking little rolls, as shiny as if they had been lacquered. Every morning the Chef surprised us with an amuse-bouche, or special little fresh juice. The cappuccinos and latte's had the most intriguing designs made in the foam. We had dinner at the Hotel one evening and it was exceptional, fresh delicious food, excellent service and perfectly prepared cocktails. We also had appetizers and drinks on several occasions, Voya's carpaccio is the best I have ever tasted. When we returned home in the late afternoon again our steadfast doorman was there at the bottom of the stairs to walk us up into the Hotel, where the attentive receptionist would immediately abandon whatever she was doing at her desk to personally ask us about our day, and address each of us by name. They did not just know our names but the names of the rest of our group, that were lodged elsewhere and our daily schedules. No matter what time of night we returned home, our Cuban family was there to welcome us. Another loving touch was the notes with sweet words and drawings that the housekeeping staff would leave us every day and evening. I brought them back with me as treasured momentoes, along with the fond memories of the "Ladies in Red" they treated us with genuine care and concern making our time staying at the Voya Hotel the highlight of Havana.

Great property, with excellent service and hospitality. Very clean and modern rooms. Food preparation was amazing. The owner was personally there adding a special touch and attention to detail. Great boutique hotel, restored to its original 1925 glory.

My husband and I spent Christmas week at the Voya Boutique Hotel. We had such an incredible time that we keep raving about it to our friend's. Before we left the states, the concierge curated a wonderful itinerary. We flew from Tampa, direct to Havana on Southwest. The ease of getting there was incredible. We couldn't believe it. Make sure you get your visa online and fill out medical form a few days in advance. The hotel sent a nice driver to pick us up at the airport. Then we were greeted by the lovely ladies in red, the receptionists/concierge team. We felt welcomed everyday as all our needs were completely met. I must recommend my favorite things! Dinner at El Cocinero Visit to the Cuban Art Factory Day trip to Vardadero Beach Spa services at Vida Classic car ride Advice: carry lots of 1 dollar bills maybe some 5s, carry medicine for yourself for headaches, cold flu, tummy trouble, lots of car fumes while driving around- bring mask, don't bring expensive things, lock valuables in safe Tips: resources for locals are scarce so I brought lots of feminine products and children's gently worn clothing to give out to room attendants. They would also appreciate any over the counter items like Tylenol, aspirin cold and flu meds, allergy meds, etc. This was such a wonderful trip! We can't wait to return.
