The Argyle Luxury Boutique Hotel

Every member of staff really looked after our group to a first class standard and made our stay exceptional. The food, service, cleanliness and rooms were excellent. From the minute we arrived, to our departure our every need was catered for. One member of staff Sithija Gundawardana really went the extra mile to be kind to my adult autistic son in addition to providing first class service to the rest of our party. It is very tranquil and relaxing and I would highly recommend it.

I had a fantastic stay at The Argyle – truly one of the best hotels I've ever visited! The view is absolutely stunning and made the entire experience even more memorable. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. There were no hidden costs, which I really appreciated. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thanks to Vithu, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect – his support really made a difference. This was my second stay at The Argyle – Luxury Boutique Hotel, and once again, it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the same warmth and elegance that made me fall in love with the hotel the first time. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully styled. The staff deserve special praise for their genuine hospitality and attentiveness. They remembered my previous visit, which made me feel especially welcomed and valued. A special mention goes to the incredibly thoughtful staff. We were initially assigned an upper-floor room, but when they noticed that my father was having difficulty with the stairs, they promptly offered us a room on the ground floor without any hesitation. That level of attentiveness and care truly stood out and made our stay all the more comfortable. On top of that, they surprised my sister with a lovely birthday gift during our stay, which was such a sweet and unexpected gesture. It made her day extra special and showed how the team at The Argyle goes above and beyond for their guests. Dining was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a hotel that maintains its charm and service quality so consistently and even improves with each visit. I’m already looking forward to returning.

One of a kind, very unique hotel we have stayed. From the check in itself, there was a warm welcome from the staff. They served a herbal tea with cinnamon, mint & jaggery which is tasty. We stayed in superior deluxe room. It's great if it's more spacious. Had a great view with mountains. Such a nice interior. Well maintained. Had so many outdoor & indoor activities including private karaoke room, cycling, badminton court, temperature controlled swimming pool, a gym, a pool bar, etc. Very friendly staff indeed. Promptly respond to every matter of ours by the staff. Food is delicious. Had many varieties. Prices are also reasonable. Had a variety of cocktails and mocktails also, which are very good and worth for the price. Had a very nice stay! Highly recommended

Stayed at The Argyle as part of a tour of Sri Lanka. We were already blown away by the kindness and hospitality shown to us by the Sri Lankan people and the team at The Argyle reinforced and added another level. The hotel was fun to stay at, great rooms, friendly restaurant and bar and a nice pool. Tucked among tea plantations which give a glimpse into the history of this beautiful island, a walk is highly recommended. We used the spa facilities too, my massage was a joy! Special mentions to Vithu and S Nadan at the front desk, a very patient Dhanashan in the bar and Sri Kanth, Guna, Prashanth and Nayomi in the restaurant who went out of their way to make our stay so much fun. Thank you all.

A wonderful luxury hotel with beautiful views of the surrounding tea plantations. This was the fourth time my wife and I stayed at this hotel and each time, it simply gets better. Although we noted that the hotel was much busier compared to previous years, the service was faultless. The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, helpful and always willing to go that extra mile to see to our needs. Rooms are spacious, extremely comfy and well equipped. It is really living the life, sitting out on the balcony, sipping coffee and taking in the breathtaking views of the distant mountains, Tea plantations and Adams Peak, as dawn breaks. Breakfast and Dinners have always been sumptuous. The hotel also provides an excellent High Tea. The cleanliness of this hotel is second to none and whilst sitting out on the balcony we observed the gardener and other staff members busy at work. The pool and the spar are additional facilities one can enjoy at this hotel. Whilst emphasising that the service provided to us by All staff members was exceptional, we would like to mention by name some of the staff who went over and above to respond to our requests. In the restaurant, Supervisor Udaya, Asst.manager Isuru, Manager Srikanth, Waiter Theagarajah, Naomi and chef Tharaka Sanjeeva. Gardener Vijayakanth took pride in showing us his beautiful garden and naming all the plants. Others who we would like to mention are Baggage collector captain Sudarshan, Guest relations senior executive Subhorshini, Bell boy Gihan Siriwardena and of course the Ever amiable front office Manager Nadan who is always at hand to help you with the broadest of smiles - symbolising typical Sri Lankan hospitality.
