The two single beds put together in the room I didnt like and wasn't comfortable for sleeping. The places we eat the food wasn't too tasty.. Besides that I had a good time

Is this hotel a 4 or 5 star? No. Does this place have enough that I would stay here again? Probably. Having a balcony is definitely a plus. The location is nice as well. Crossing the nearby busy road and then walking behind the KFC, you turn left on the boardwalk and take it to its far end--ending up right on a beautiful beach. Front desk employees are very friendly and made me feel welcome each time I came or went. They helped me get a taxi to the airport. This hotel shows its age and has a few issues you ought to be aware of before booking. The hot water in the shower was rare. Having two twin beds pushed together to equal a king is a nice gesture although not comfortable. After two days, I set wet towels on my bathroom floor to be replaced and yet the cleaning staff just hung those same wet/dirty towels right back up on the racks. It seems one must request towel changes from the front desk. On the morning of my departure (with the Do Not Disturb sign still on the outside of the doorknob), the cleaning lady knocked on my door and attempted to enter. I informed her that I'd be leaving around 11:30am since the checkout is posted as Noon. She knocked again and again and when I would open the door, she'd say that she was confused and then realized she had already spoken to me. (Keep in mind, my room #59 was on the very end of the floor and there's only one other door in the immediate area.) When I return to Barbados, I will read up on recent reviews of this hotel and I will possibly consider another stay here.

It was not good, late on the night the fuse panel was sparking and burning . It was filling the room with a bad smell and we had to get a new room.I was disappointed in the service ,we had to switch to a different room and employee late in the night to advise her of the problem and she was sleeping on guard duty. She call the owner and they was not answering, want if de place burn down with all of our things.

Barbados is a way overpriced tourist destination so having reasonably priced places like Pirate Inn is pretty useful. The property is basic, not a luxurious place but serves the purpose for a single travellers like me, or if you are not planning to stay at the hotel most of the time. They have kitchenette which is useful if you are sick of overpriced meals in Barbados. There is a nice grocery store nearby to get some stuff to cook. The location is really good. You can walk to the boardwalk from the hotel and it's close enough to the main highway if you rent a car to visit out of town attractions. I have no major complaints about this place. The staff were all fine.

This is a great place for a 2 star hotel. As long as you don’t expect a 5 star it’s adequate! excellent location in Hastings to the beach and many places to eat. The staff is good - some better than others. We were there 10 nights and if we wanted our room cleaned we had to ask. There is a small kitchenette in the room and we found it irritating that some of the cleaners would not wash the few glasses we had left in the sink. The rooms themselves could use a good makeover. Lots of wear and tear - but again it’s a 2 star hotel so it’s to be expected. The rooms are large and there is plenty of storage for your belongings. The bed was comfy and the air con was cold in our room. The pool and pool area was excellent. Every Sunday morning at 8 there was a lovely singer by the pool - we got to see her twice she was great! All in all excellent value for money and if I wanted value accommodations I would definitely stay here again.
