Winstead Beach Resort

This is a very charming and comfortable inn. We stayed right on the private beach. The included breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room made it easy to meet and chat with other guests. The restoration preserved period details but provided guests with a charging station, 2 flat screen TV's (in a suite), internet access and all that one would expect in a 21st century hotel.

Room was delightful however every other aspect was either OK or poor. Breakfast was just about passable for a Bed & breakfast until the last morning when it was very sub standard. There were staff and they were courteous enough. Wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend it

I have dreamed of staying in Cape Cod for a summer vacation since I was a little girl. My husband and I finally planned a road trip heading East, touring some cities along the way, then to Boston, and finally arrived on Cape Cod. I had carefully researched the perfect spot to stay, found The Winstead Beach Resort, and contacted Doug. He was SO friendly, informative and helpful. When we arrived in the little town of Harwich (quaint little village like the song! 😁) Doug was there to greet us, give instructions, and made us feel welcome. This resort is peaceful, relaxing, beautiful, and more than we ever imagined. We stayed four days at the end of June, so the weather was cooler and windy but we loved it and loved being on the beach. I have to give a shout out to Antonio, who was friendly, courteous, and so very attentive to us and our needs. THANK YOU! Also, to Christina, whose yummy breakfast spread every morning was always presented with a lovely smile and friendly greeting. 🫶🏻 Our upper room was adorable with a nice balcony just for 2. Though small it had a terrific bathroom. My lifelong dream exceeded my expectations of wonderful Cape Cod and The Winstead Beach Resort!

We have been coming to the Winstead Inn and Beach Resort for years, so we already knew the property was outstanding in every way. Greg, Doug and their entire staff are perfect hosts, always striving to go above and beyond to please their guests and make each stay memorable and special. Their attention to detail makes the hotel a standout. It is also a great location and very central to town. The outdoor decks and private beach were comfortable and peaceful. Staff was great and breakfast was delectable. Our room was beautiful, immaculately clean. We would definitely return!

The location and beach are the best. The porch looking out to the ocean is one to remember. The room was comfortable but the bed was so comfortable that we wanted to take it with us. The breakfast and eating area were a perfect way to start the day.

The Windstead Inn was exactly as promised. It is a lovely property with a helpful staff and all the amenities and peace and quiet that you could wish for on a vacation. The use of the beach on their other property is a great bonus. We stayed in the Admiral's Suite, which had a wonderful jacuzzi tub.

Great place. The staff was polite and plesant. Very cozy, clean and well maintained hotell with a nice heated pool. Good location in town. We had dinner at nearby restaurant the Seal which is also very nice. The only thing not completeley perfect was breakfast, which is a little simple. We will be back!

Can't complain about anything....other than, our ADA compliant room, as large and spacious as it was, needed more lighting. Please put in higher wattage bulbs in wall sconces. ;-) Otherwise, everything was perfect. Whatever we asked for was satisfied. Parking definitely convenient. Everyone working there couldn't be more accommodating.

Our stay at the Inn was spectacular. Our room was beautiful, as well as the interior antique furnishings throughout the Inn. The pool and surrounding grounds are manicured with sensational gardens. The staff couldn’t have been more impressive and welcoming. We will return to our magical place for many years to come.
