We stayed for two nights in the Livingston Suite and could not recommend Glen Afric Country Lodge more. The room was perfect and spotlessly clean. The views of the estate from the room was perfect. staff was all amazing (Thank you all) Justine took us on a private tour of the Wild at Heart - Leopards Den film set and was incredibly knowledgeable about the series. Thank you so much for a once in a lifetime experience! Visit Glen Afric Country Lodge for a true South African experience.

From the moment we arrived i fell in love with Glen Afric, my partner had been twice before and said i would love it, but it was soo much more than I imagined. The views are amazing, the work they do is just fantastic. The management are brilliant and the game guides were more than superb. The friendlyness of the staff is just incredible. There are too many to mention. Melody 🥰, Max, Mad Marco,Memory, Mita, Lawrence, and all the rest whose names have slipped my mind but not slipped my memories of Glen Afric. It really feels like one big family. Thank you to George 😍 and his assistants. But the biggest thank you has to go to the lady herself 'Three' ❤️ and her 2 daughters. Thank you Glen Afric. See you next year.

We visited Glen Afric 10 years ago as day visitors and this year returned after a 3 week visit to SA, starting in Cape Town and then with family in Pretoria. We stayed at Glen Afric for two nights and as it was out of season, we had the place to ourselves almost exclusively. The property has been extended since our last visit much to the benefit of it.
The staff and Nicolena were absolutely fantastic and we also met back up with Asan and George the Elephant handlers, we first saw 10 years ago. I even had a photo on my phone of Asan from our first visit. The grounds are kept in great condition and if you are unsure about doing a Safari then this is a great introduction to a game reserve.
We were at Glen Afric in what is SA,s winter but the weather was like an English summer without the rain.
We will definitely return.

We had lunch in the amazing restaurant. We sat on the balcony over looking the beautiful mountains. Lunch was tasty and plentiful and reasonably priced. Service was amazing. We then went on a safari drive with Shannon. What an awesome drive. She is very knowledgeable and was very accomadating . She made my day as I am unable to walk but she drove us everywhere and kept me in the shade. Thank you Shannon for making our visit.

Decided to return to Glen Afric for my 60th birthday with husband and friends, 6 of us all together. Had the most amazing time. The people, scenery and animals will make this a memorable stay. The rooms are rustic but the views more than make up for it. We all loved every minute

Went in October with my friends from the U.K. after being postponed 4 times due to Covid. It was amazing to be in this slice of paradise. All the staff are amazing so friendly. It’s great to be sat in the beautiful gardens or in the restaurant looking at the beautiful scenery seeing all the animals walking past. It’s one of my favourite places, already booked for my birthday in August.

Awesome experience friendly staff great room nice and clean and saw so much wildlife including zebras and an ostrich right outside my room. Food was excellent too with plenty of vegetarian options. Picked this place in a last minute rush and very glad I did

The staff was great, the safari, especially being able to touch the animals, the room was excellent and I enjoyed the Wild at Heart buildings. The only bad thing was the lack of electricity. We are spoiled with that.
