Best about stay: The hotel was very clean, hospitality was superior from other hotels. Great location and close to shopping. Could be better: There is absolutely nothing I could think of. I will definitely recommend anyone to stay there. Missing Benefits: I did not become a member until I found out that it was no longer part of Choice Hotels and was Strawberry. Positive Impression: The entire dining room staff for breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Enjoyed speaking to them all. They were very personable and very welcoming. The most impressive staff members were Helen, Trine and Hannah. All three ladies were very personable and very informative. They provided places to visit and see the great sites of Norway. They always found time to answer any and all questions that I had. I will definitely miss their outstanding customer service. Not to shorthand the rest of the staff as they all were excellent. These three women were great. Looking forward to the day I return back to Norway. Your staff's hospitality is something here in the states I wish we can improve on. Thanks again for a memorable stay!!!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Arcticus. The hotel is well located and is providing nice and spacious rooms. A gym is also including a sauna with a wonderful view. To note the warm welcome at the reception desk (the person’s name was Trine) where very useful information about my trip and interesting places to visit in the neighborhood were given. This set the positive tone of my stay at this hotel.

We booked our last night of our vacation there before getting the plane back from Eveness. We booked deluxe rooms, and the package included breakfast and dinner. It was an excellent stay, and we found it was good value. the rooms were very nice, with a nice view from large windows on the sea. The quality of the breakfast was quite good. There is no parking but there are a lot of parking places in the street, which by the way are free from 3pm saturday till monday 8am. We did not take the dinner there, and we regret that. We thought that for our last night we should go out. To be honnest we went to a restaurant, which was not cheap, and was not very good, and the buffet at the hotel looked quite ok. Unless you can get a table , and want to go, in the 1-2 best restaurants (Umami), we would suggest to have dinner there. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Clarion Hotel Arcticus and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The hotel is located right on the harbour front with stunning views of the mountains, and easily reachable on foot from the bus station (5 mins). My room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and there was a wide range of options available at the breakfast buffet. The evening meal (included in the room rate) was also excellent. Tusen takk!

Here price includes also dinner and afternoon tea/coffee with some sweet. Breakfast was really good and there was all normal food like usually in hotels. Room was amazing spacious and pillows etc were so good. We had bathtub in oir room 408. Sauna is in 4th floor with amazing view to the sea. Gym is in same place. Staff was friendly and knew well area swimming places etc. Hurtigruten comes here also. You can park your car other side of road garage. Its free between 14.00-8.00. Other times you can pay with card or example with Easypark. Its truly easy to recommend this hotel.

Right in the town center. Room decor a bit old and outdated. Staff in general friendly, but you will not see many smiles ;) Supermarket behind hotel. Right on the harbour. The most expensive room will have view of the harbour - I personal wouldnt bother with the upgrade charge. Great New sauna with view to the outside. Breakfast and dinner is included in your room rate and very standard quality.

What a fantastic stay!! The view over the harbor was fantastic. The room was wonderful and comfortable. Very clean and very quiet. The breakfast and dinner was very tasty and filling. Wonderful location: very close to city center and numerous shopping opportunities. The staff are wonderful!!

Situated conveniently right by the harbourside just three minutes walk from the centre of Harstad - quiet position but with fine views. We paid for one of the best rooms on the top floor with large floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the harbour and across to the mountains, and would highly recommend doing this if you are here for just a short stay. Good breakfast, and of course a simple evening meal included as it is a Clarion Collection hotel. Friendly helpful staff, overall would be very happy to recommend it.

A very good hotel with an absolutely beautiful location on the pier in Harstad. A beautiful view of the sea and mountains. A hotel you will always feel welcome in from a staff with great commitment, smiles and unique service, along with great food for breakfast and dinner you will always want to return.

Arcticus has an amazing staff , that takes care of ALL of your needs , beautiful view from the room , where we slept like never before !! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!! We have been staying here 3 times , and are always pleasantly surprised , never met a staff more willing to help you . LOVE THIS HOTEL and it´s staff !!!

This has been the best hotel I ever stayed at! The staff is the best, food is great, rooms are fabulous and the views are amazing! Trine and crew work hard to ensure you have the best stay and things you need. I recommend this hotel HIGHLY!!

Incredibly professional and friendly staff. Loved every day of my stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even things that had never been asked for before. Superb location near the city centre and beautiful scenery, including several displays of the northern lights, viewed from the front door.
