There was a business conference here and we were on vacation. Firstly when we ate at the restaurant they were out of the majority of things that were on the menu eg. Mushrooms, mushroom risotto, sauvignon blanc. It was very expensive for what we got. Then housekeeping barged in at 08:30 without knocking. We got a letter informing us that breakfast was from 8 to 10 when we arrived at 09:15 we were told that we had missed breakfast which was from 07:00 to 09:00, when we checked in the day before we were not told this. They did try to help us get some breakfast but the coffee facilities were cleared away before we could get a 2nd cup.

What a beautiful place not far out of Gothenburg on a lovely lake. Old world charm… even 1960s magazines on the lounge table! Good information received from reception staff- easy bus trip to Gothenburg from nearby Molnlycke. Only criticism would be the speed of service in the dining room, albeit with fantastic quality of food, and the absence of staff at breakfast. Wonderful shuffleboard.. if you’ve never played before, you’ll be hooked!

We attended an amazing wedding at this venue. They had a private upstairs for the bridal party to dress and get make-up done. The staff was so attentive in bringing up food and drinks. The wedding was flawless and a huge success. The food here is amazing and the breakfasts were great. Definitely a great wedding venue. The room was clean and neat. It was two twin beds pushed together. Very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was spacious. The hot tub and sauna were very appreciated. The view from the hot tub was beautiful. The staff, servers, and desk manager were super and so accommodating. The bartender, Viktor, was top-notch! I would come back.

We had a lovely "julbord' with a window overlooking the lake. The buffee was a traditional "julbord" with a fantastic selection of pickle herring. The staff did not rush you and we had a relaxing coffee with "Avec" and Christmas sweets after in the bar. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Will be definitely be back another time and maybe stay over night

Two nights at this perfect location directly at the lake. Great views from the road leading there. Attractive main building with cosy rooms, a huge bright lounge and terrace with direct lake view. In the booking request we noted a preference for a lake view room away from the railway. Got a room away from the lake and facing the railway. Fully aware that room preferences can not be guaranteed but strange to observe that other rooms were announced as vacant on various websites during our stay. Anyway, the friendly and competent female receptionist found a way to compensate us. Room not impressive. Small and dark but quite modern, functional and nicely decorated. Comfy beds. Lacking storage space. Thin walls so you hear sounds from neighbors. Bathroom functional but defect blinders. Good: The dinner. Better: The breakfast, wide choice, served in a welcoming, bright restaurant with option of using the terrace with full lake view. Recommended visit in the area: Råda Herrgård (manor).
