Premier Inn London Harrow

Arrived, check in was great, very friendly, arrived later than planned due to traffic. Room allocated , freezing cold, tried to heat room no luck, woke in the morning to it remaining freezing and no hot water, no time to change rooms for showers due to early morning commitments, although this was not offered by staff. Offered breakfast which we accepted but “hot breakfast” was actually cold and had been sat out for a while, tried to toast bread using toasters which were plugged into an adapter which was ironically was balanced on 2 Fire extinguishers. After 8 mins of waiting a toaster still not remotely golden gave up. So all in all pretty poor show from premier inn, we usually pick premier inn knowing the basic standards are good sadly this was not the case, the hotel was very run down and not really fit for purpose

An uncomfortable and very noisy hotel with poor facilities. The hotel was freezing cold with heating that did not work. There were no additional blankets or pillows available so barely slept through the cold. The sleep I did get was constantly disturbed by the adjoining train line that rattles right by the windows. There are very limited facilities and even half of the room’s electrics (lights/sockets) did not work either. Not a cheap room for the awful experience. Avoid staying here.

I have stayed at this particular hotel at least 30 times, but last 2 visits have left me slightly disappointed. Place starting to look shabby, not the bedrooms, but the quality of the breakfast has deteriorated - cooked breakfast was luke warm every day. Toilets in the bar area are a disgrace - 2 of the 3 cublicles did not have a toilet seat, on both my last 2 visits. What was particularly annoying, was going into the bar at 9.30pm, to be told it had closed - there were approx 20 people in the bar area drinking, but the tills had been closed down for the night. Premier Inn have sold the sit for redevelopment ant now cutting down on their current running costs

The room needed deep cleaning- dust was evident. The toilet door had black dirt strips, the internet was terrible, you couldn’t even receive calls, it was that bad. For a family bedroom, it was small, there was hardly any space to walk.. the beds were jammed together.

The room was spacious, clean and warm. The bed was very comfy and the shower was powerful and as hot as we wanted it to be! The staff were all polite, gracious and friendly and very quick to answer any questions and provide an extra towel when asked.

Location was excellent however, hotel is run down, unorganized and in desperate need of staff training. Issues with electrics, power cuts, key cards not working. Staff nowhere to be seen as so busy in their own. Given no information at check in which meant we couldn’t have breakfast as turned away for not booking (even though it was empty) delivery at 5am each morning was appalling! Throwing plates around with pride. Heating didn’t work in room and bags of linen littered the corridors, making access difficult. reception was a chaotic mess, no teas/coffees/leaflets. Clearly no teamwork between premier and beefeater. The whole establishment needs a retrain.
