Me and my boyfriend arrived in Hanoi and went in search of somewhere to book trips to Ha Long bay and Ha giang Loup! We shopped around but found this place offered the best price and had the best and most friendly service! Straight away we were greeted, given fruit and were able to book our trips and be picked up from the hotel! They even did my laundry over night so it was ready to take with me next morning!! Once we returned from our trips we had two nights stay in the hotel as well, the room was very clean, modern and well decorated! The shower/bathroom again very clean with a towel and complimentary toiletries! The air con worked well and the bed was real comfy! The hotel it's self is located in a very good place and the lake, prison and war museum are all within walking distance!!! The staff were extremely friendly, polite and couldn't do enough to help! We were regularly given fruit, drinks and even invited for dinner with the owner on the last night! Fantastic establishment which we really enjoyed staying at! During my stay here the cleanliness was very low and could have cleaned a little better for the price. The showers were mouldy and the sheets and towels were stained. I have to agree to begin with service was great and went all smoothly until checkout, when originally we had 6 rooms booked and then was only given 4 room keys and by the end of check out we were charged for 6 rooms. When only 4 key cards were handed to us… didn’t make a lot of sense in our heads because this was not said at the beginning. Because if we knew that was the case we would have taken lol 6 rooms!! The receptionists kept arguing saying they have a policy on ‘trip advisor’ that they could not cancel this and we had to pay for 6 rooms although we were only given 4 key cards. I would not recommend this Hotel as the cleanliness is very dirty and does not look like the photos taken on ***********.
