We stayed in the Kowhai Suite, the owner was very friendly on our arrival and the suite was ready on time. The quality of the fittings and finishes in the suite was of a very high standard everything was perfect and the suite was very clean, spotless were would say. Bed was so comfortable, heating was great with gas fire and heat pump, kitchen was next level with every thing you need, very comfortable seating and very quiet at night, beautiful surroundings with a pond and lawns. very close to all the amenities 5 min walk to the shops and cafe. All in all a great stay we would differently stay again.

Beautiful room which has been very tastefully furnished and immaculately presented. I don’t often leave reviews but this place was beautifully done and it was an absolute pleasure to stay at. Highly recommend for couples wanting a nice break in Hanmer.

We booked on the day at the last minute and were welcomed warmly by Tony. We were in the Koru Suite which has just been beautifully refurbished to a very high spec. Too much to list in full but everything is there, Nespresso, Harneys tea, dishwasher, washer/dryer. It's a spacious luxury suite and beautifully styled. Very much recommended.

Fully kitted out and exceptional quality. Luxurious bathroom. Ideally located for an easy walk into the centre of Hanmer Springs. The only reason did not give 5 star was the bed was somewhat hard for our liking.

We have travelled to different places around the world and this has to be one of the best places we have come across. Everything has been thought of. Clean, luxury fittings, washing machine/ dryer, dark block out curtains, quiet …the list could go on. Close enough to walk to all Hanmer Springs has to offer. We will be back for sure.

Inspired transformation and newly renovated . Wheel chair access for one room I think the Koru . Every detail has been considered. There is space to enjoy nibbles and drinks. A nice way to park up even in the heat of summer this was cool and a welcome sanctuary.

We had a lovely stay at Oakview. Beautifully decorated, had everything we needed. Walkable to town and the thermal pools. Comfortable bed and linen. Great selection of teas and milk in the fridge. Will definitely be back.

We stayed in Oakview for the final two nights of our five week visit to the South Island. It is stunning accommodation, with everything you could require for a luxurious stay. Very well equipped kitchen area, fabulous bathroom with washer and dryer, comfortable bed and living area and a lovely outdoor sitting area. It is very quiet and within easy walking distance to Springs and town centre. Would thoroughly recommend.
