Just come back from Residence Mahmoud Hammamet. Please don't book. This is not a good hotel. It is open to the public and the bar is open till early hours of the morning. Very noisy. We changed room 4 times for different reasons. My watch was taken on the 2nd day from our room. Some rooms do not have a safe and it was not explained that the safe is at reception. Food was awful we booked half board. We had to pay for water with our meals. Every evening you had an option of 3 choices and the same dessert every night water melon or honey melon. It says at the front of the hotel that there is security there isn't wifi is difficult to get in most rooms. No entertainment as it states on the holiday advert. It also says there is a spa there is not. The pool was not very clean so keep your head above water. We all had stomach problems and had to buy medication. Please just book somewhere else.

The hotel is located about a 30-minute walk from Hammamet's city center and 15 minutes from the train station, making it a convenient base for exploring the city and its surroundings. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, though the Wifi did not work despite being advertised as available in all rooms. The staff are polite and speak decent English. As for food, breakfast is good, although the selection is somewhat limited. Several restaurants offering both local and international cuisine are nearby. There’s also a restaurant within the hotel that serves good food, which is a great option for those who prefer to stay in at night. Beer, wine, and other spirits are available at reasonable prices. The swimming pool is clean and well-maintained, and drinks are served poolside, although the service can be a bit slow. The clientele is a mix of Europeans, Tunisians living abroad, and locals. Verdict: While not exactly a peaceful retreat, especially on weekends, this hotel is an excellent base for exploring Hammamet. The price-to-quality ratio is good, and it is relatively affordable by European standards.

A little gem. Cheap but surprisingly good value. A quaint traditional feel in a good location. If you're looking for a great deal well this hotel offers just that. Breakfast was included although nothing special it was fine. Reception were friendly and although I had to change my room this was no problem. The manager was very helpful in changing my room. The food is reasonably priced and u can get service to the poolside which was great too. There's a friendly lifeguard and helpful restaurant staff there. The rooms are adequate some perhaps bigger and quieter than others so ask for a quiet room as some rooms overlook the restaurant/bar courtyard below which comes alive with young Tunisias at night. All in all a very good attractive hotel with an excellent price and great pool. 👍

J’ai été agréablement surpris par cet hôtel. J’y ai séjourné pour une seule nuit lors d’un passage rapide. Compte tenu du tarif attractif, je trouve que l’établissement offre un bon rapport qualité-prix. La chambre était propre, avec un confort simple mais suffisant pour une courte durée. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de wifi, mais cela reste acceptable. Le petit déjeuner, bien que peu varié, est tout à fait correct et satisfaisant. Le personnel, quant à lui, est très accueillant et sympathique. C’est un choix idéal pour une étape ou un court séjour. Merci

Хороший отель за невысокую стоимость. Чистый, уютный отель, доброжелательный персонал. В номере проводилась уборка каждый день, меняли постельное бельё раз в 3 дня. Завтрак в отеле был скудненький, а вот ужин сытный и вкусный. Если вы хотите поехать в этот отель, то я, однозначно, вам его рекомендую!
