I stayed here with my boyfriend and his sister for three nights and everything was broken. We never had a hot shower not one time it was always a cold shower. The staff is horrifying with their attitudes but we all remained kind and calm. Lots of drug use going on around us, just a really terrible experience. Roaches, everything‘s broken. I have pictures and videos of everything and now that I have the time to get in touch with their legal department somehow, someway it just doesn’t seem to exist to them. We will definitely find who we need to be talking to so that we can shut them down at least because at this point it doesn’t have anything to do with money, it’s I feel people are in danger who stay there, Thank you.

My standards are low, but this was by far thr worst place Ive ever stayed. Junked furniture everywhere. Room hadnt been vacuumed in ages because "the vacuum cleaner doesnt work". Roaches in the room. Milk that expired five says ago for breakfast, with only old cold cereal & ancient undated yogurt for food. Was yelled at by aggressive staff for trying to fill up a normal-sized coffee cup. Was told the coffee is complementary so I am only allowed to have a tiny paper cup full. The room was absolutely filthy. There were cigarette ashes on the TV remote. There was nothing in the room – no wastebasket, no alarm clock no nothing only one working outlet in the whole room. There was construction debris everywhere, and the staircases are falling apart. The pool is empty. I asked for some towels to cover up the filthy furniture, and I got towels that were covered in paint and had holes in them. If all this weren't bad enough, there are super bright security lights that shine directly into the windows all night, and the curtains are see-through… So all night it looks like it is daytime. This place was a nightmare.

The place was filthy and in total disrepair. Walk in and the light switch didn't work, the lamp was broken in half. The clothes rack was ripped off the wall, thin sheets on a mattress with no mattress pad. No washable cover on the comforter on the bed. There is no way the floor had been vacuumed. The stair climb, to second floor, covered with rotting and slippery leaves.

Nothing on the site mentioned renovations. Arrived after hours of driving and see no other cars in the parking lot but that is not always a bad thing. The light was flickering over the canopy like in a horror movie, but again these things are not always a bad thing. The lobby is clean looking, but there is an odor. Walk past trash on the stairs and landing to check out the room and nope. Water damage is obvious, and the smell of mold/mildew. The beds feel moist to the touch and the bathroom had obvious black mold on the walls. Dead bugs, dirt everywhere. I told my daughter to grab her things and start reservations down a few exits as we pack up and I go to turn in the key and request proof of checkout. Was not given any paperwork and was told I had to call Choice for a refund. Called them on the way to another hotel that was almost sold out, but got a room. So far I've been refunded only one day of my two-day stay which has been taken out of my account. I'm waiting for a call about why it was not fully refunded. Forget renovations and just level the place and start back over.

Stayed Saturday, June 10th 2023. Trash in the nightstand drawer, washcloth over the smoke detector, dirty looking towels, curtains hanging off.Pool was closed even though the website says it’s open. I called about all these things and was told they don’t have any other rooms. I called Choice Hotels customer service in the hope that they’d get me somewhere else to stay. Abut they couldn’t. We couldn’t afford a different hotel, so we decided to stay. A little while later, I scraped my ankle on something sticking out under the boxspring. Turned out to be rusty metal. Sunday morning, I called the office and spoke to Amy. She was kind and understanding, but couldn’t do anything to help. She said the manager is very strict about refunds. I said that needing a tetanus shot from a motel stay is grounds for a refund. She agreed and said if the manager doesn’t get me a refund, she will. Monday morning I called again. Amy answered and said the manager hadn’t been in yet and to call in the afternoon. Called Monday afternoon and Hillary said the manager left a note saying that since we stayed the whole night, there would be no refund. Hillary was defensive and rude and wouldn’t let me speak. Yes, she has no control, but part of her job is to listen, and she wouldn’t do that. I kept my tone civil and didn’t take my anger out on her. So far, as of Monday evening, I have no resolution. We’ll see what happens tomorrow morning if Amy is working again.

Didn’t look too bad from the outside, but the room was pretty bad. Some paint would help, and they are renovating but room 132 has a bedbug infestation. On a positive note, didn’t see any roaches. Just knowing I got blood ****** from those little bed rascals though is bad enough. Call an exterminator!

I've stayed here a couple times and got what I expected for the price paid. The place is/was a bit outdated, but is slowly being renovated. Once all upgrades are complete I expect it to be a lot better.

Do not use this hotel! I have pictures of blood stains on the comforter that was ripped, no smoke alarm, broken door lock, mold on bathroom walls. The health department needs to condemn the place!!!!!

Staff was great. Bed was comfortable. Really all aroound great place to visit. I'll be back when i have to come back to town. The property is being renovated to looking really nice. Staff was great.
