Stratos Hotel

Thank you Anastasia, Stella and the team for another fantastic holiday at Stratos. They always make you feel so welcome So grateful you were able to give us the same room- very comfortable bed, good shower with plenty of hot water, great size balcony. The hotel is lovely and in a great location. 5 minutes to shops/restaurants and 15/20 minutes walk to beach. The cleaning staff work tirelessly to maintain the hotel and keep it spotless. Library is a great asset - I’ve not read so much in years. Nice bar area where food and drinks can be purchased. Great pool area with plenty of sun beds - like the addition of cushions this year. Breakfast - what can I say. Great variety of produce- cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, homemade pastries and jams, daily hot food selection. All constantly replenished. Something for everyone. All in all a great holiday and think of the team as friends now. We will return. PS love the lighthouse!

just come back from the Stratos and what an amazing find Stella at the helm and Anastasia making sure everything was perfect all day long i even caught the cleaners wiping down light bulbs and up a ladder cleaning the top of the fridge in the bar such is the cleanliness of this place great place and very personal service nothing was too much trouble cant wait to get back there thanks to all the staff for making it an unbelievable stay

We visited Stratos again this year but decided to stay for 18 nights and had a lovely time . We have visited many times as a couple and with family. We are always welcomed back by Anastasia ,Stella, and their lovely mum. All the staff are friendly and helpful the rooms are cleaned daily by the hard working cleaning team and nothing is too much trouble . And the standard of cleanliness was still high throughout the immense heat and storm we had while we were there . The hotel is nice and chilled around the pool, and breakfast has a good choice to cater for all. We love our visits to Stratos and will be returning in September with family. Once again, thank you to all the team . See you in a few weeks 🥰🥰

We’re so pleased to have stayed/found this hotel in Afytos. It is perfectly located away from the main hub but quick & easy to walk into the centre or sea edge restaurants. Stella & Anastasia do everything they can to make your stay superb and have a wonderful team that help including Maria, Manolis & their fantastic cleaning team.

Just returned from a lovely 1 week stop at the Stratos Hotel. It’s located just off one of the main streets in Afitos, though you wouldn’t know as it is so peaceful and quiet. The hotel has plenty to offer with a well maintained pool area and bar. The staff there are really nice with a special mention to Maria who was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the stand out services was the breakfast, which was well laid out with plenty of choice ranging from scrambled eggs and sausages to cereals and a comprehensive continental style selection. There was truly something for everyone. I looked forward to it everyday. I would also like to commend the cleaners who were literally like a drone of bees buzzing round ensuring everywhere was spotless. They did a really good job. The only negative point I found at the hotel was the room we were given, which was on the smaller side, dark and lacking storage space - 1 wardrobe (4 coat hangers), 2 bed side cabinets and a small dressing table. Nowhere to put our suitcases and no hooks to hang bags, etc. The bathroom was not really fit for purpose as it was that small that when you sat on the loo the shower curtain draped up your side, which was quite annoying when it was wet. The shower also leaked when in use and flooded the floor, which we reported on the first day and to the credit of the staff they did get their maintenance man out but unfortunately after 2 visits the problem persisted so we ended up laying several towels on the floor to mop up the water for the remainder of our stay. I also think the balcony furniture needed updating . The table had all paint peeling off and the plastic chairs were well worn. This and the fact that the view was of the car park lead us to not spend anytime out there, which is something we always do on holiday. Overall I would recommend Stratos Hotel as it’s location is perfect for exploring the beautiful bars and restaurants in Afitos and the beach is a mere 5-10 minutes walk away.
