Victory Hotel Motel Gympie

This must be one of the best places in Gympie for a meal as the restaurant was packed 3 out of the 5 nights we stayed there. The chef and his staff are amazing, producing top quality pub food with restaurant flair. The motel is also comfortable and clean, and offers a good nights sleep. Currently doing external reno’s at the motel and it should look amazing!! Highly recommend the pub and the motel.

While clean and comfortable, this place lacks basic maintenance. The light outside our room doesn’t work, the loo requires two hands to flush it, two hangers in the cupboard in the room with queen size bed, four cups for a place that accommodates five. One hand towel and one face washer for five people! The street lamp at the bottom of the very steep driveway to the motels isn’t working. This makes it hazardous if walking back from restaurant in the dark. The main bedroom could do with bedside lamps because the room has just one central light operated by a switch at the doorway. Such easy and low cost things for basic comfort could improve this accommodation.
