Recently renovated heritage hotel. Very clean and full of charm. The staff were attentive and welcoming, but sometimes fell a little short of what you would expect from this 5 star chain of hotels. For example, one day we returned after a full day exploring the city and our room had not been cleaned. One evening we ate in the restaurant and ordered two dishes, but only one arrived. One evening we went to 5 o’clock cocktails but there was no bartender in the bar. And the first morning we had breakfast we were told it was buffet only; I asked if there was any a menu and was told no, only to realize later that there was in fact a menu full of delicious options. This hotel has potential to be amazing but it needs to pay attention to the details.

Lovely hotel but no comparison to the Umed bhavan or fakaknuma. Newly done up interiors. Food was good. But not compared to other taj hotels. No way even near. Breakfast spread is also less compared to other taj hotels. Spa ac not working. Dirty towels in the spa toilets. Extremely upset on that.

The view was awesome. Service was amazing and we just loved the vibe!! Food was extremely tasty, loved the beverages, everything was top-notch! Soooooooooooigooooooooooooooooooooooooooodddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a very nice experience dining to the sound of flute and fountain in their courtyard restaurant. Food quality and quantity is also good. Had a nice time celebrating my husband’s birthday, thanks to Ravi ji, Prabhjot and vaneeta amazing service.

Thank you Taj Usha Kiran Palace for making our vacation so amazing. Wonderful hospitality, Superb venue , charming ambience and a timeless vibe. Attribute it to enthusiastic and passionate staff members for making it so. Appreciate your support and willingness in making Jain meals specifically for us. We had a truly memorable stay ! Special mention of Ms. Tanika - GM Usha Kiran palace , Aarushi our host who conducted the heritage tour so well. Ria, Sakshi and Lavisha from Reception, Mr.Rishabhji- ever helpful operational manger , Chef Ravi and Mr.Amit and Prakash from Silver Salon.

Fabulous property and excellent staff. A truly TAJ experience. Do try the local cuisine - have the staff to recommend some that may also be outside the menu. Take the palace tour in the evening and soak in the history and ambiance. A truly relaxing stay

Sometimes an hotel can make your day! This is the case for the Usha Kiran Palace. The room was beautiful. The gala dinner for the New Year’s Eve was perfectly arranged in the garden. My wife has also tried various treatments at the SPA, which was very satisfying. The breakfast was delicious with anything you may wish. Amit took care of us in a perfect way. All management and staff were extremely kind and helpful. By itself a good reason to come to Gwalior!

The wellness centre is awesome. They have different types of messages curated as per your need. One should for sure give it a try you will not be disappointed. My therapist was Nivedita and Mr. Vivek the manager they both are awesome in their work and they are like an asset to the corporation.

Taj hotels you should seriously have a drop down on the silver spoon(restaurant) staff as they are pathetic in managing guests I visited this place on 2 June and the staff is very rude towards Indian guests I’m writing this because at the time of dinner on that Mr Abhishek did not take the initiative to make us comfortable rather he was forcing me to sit outside in open heat as their tables were for foreigners guests And it was feeling like being in pre independent India at that night I’m late in Writing review but Taj please look in the matter as best in world u cannot do this to your in-house guests
