Neemrana's - Deo Bagh

This was the best hotel we had. The staff is extremely friendly. The food is excellent. The service is outstanding! It is a marvellous place with beautiful temples in the garden. In the neighbourhood there is the amazing fort with only few visitors.

Beautiful property, well maintained, excellent service! We enjoyed our stay here. Lovely olace to relax, sit on the lawn sipping chai, looking at the peacocks or explore the property and also a good location to explore Gwalior and around .

A wonderful oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Gwalior. Beautiful gardens to relax on and comfortable rooms. The staff were so friendly and helpful and they were so considerate of our individual needs. The food in the restaurant was delicious. All in all, a wonderful retreat to pause and relax

Usually a hotel is a place to shower and sleep, maybe to eat. Many hotels might try to market themselves as something more, but they are not. This hotel, on the other hand, really is something special. Beyond a place to sleep it is part of the experience. It is an historical Mughal sarai, tastefully updated, so you are staying in a very comfortable and well appointed room that dates back a few centuries. The gardens in front of the rooms are immaculate, while other parts of the gardens are rather wild. You will see parrots and you will see peacocks. If you are lucky, they will put on a display for you. If you are luckier, you will see Indian hornbills (we were lucky on both counts). The family that owns the property (Neemrana is just the operator) maintains some small temples in the grounds. We were (again) lucky to be invited in by the owner to join a ceremony. I don't know another hotel where that happens. By the way, the restaurant is very good, and high tea on the lawn (complimentary) is a delight. As so often in India, the area outside the front gate is quite different. Those not used to India might be put off, but it is quite normal. It is not too hard to get an Auto at the gate; alternatively, the very helpful reception staff are happy to arrange transport.

Neemrana Deobagh is a quaint property that has a beautiful history to it , add to it the various bird sightings..we had a peaceful and lovely stay here. The staff was courteous and looked after all out needs well. We stayed at Mohini Mahal which is tastefully done up. It is on the ground floor. We preferred this one to the rooms upstairs as pur child could walk about to the garden anytime. The food at Neemrana is very good. Also, ola is available easily from the property.

Wonderful experience.. my child is studying in Scindia so everytime we have a night out with him we have to stay in Gwalior.. I have stayed in various hotels in Gwalior but Neemrana Deo Bagh was a totally different experience.. quite.. peaceful with amazing hospitality and wonderful food.. we had lunch, high tea, dinner, breakfast every meal was delicious.. breakfast buffet was small but tasty.. high tea sandwiches and matar samosas with tea were amazing.. play area for family was small but nicely done... they also provided badmintons to play in evening...for next time also would love book the same property away from hustle bustle of the city.. u feel like u r away from the city and still in the city... We got room on the first floor.. big room.. balcony all around the room with netted doors...felt so royal.. waking to the sound of peacock and birds in morning.. whole terrace to ourselves.. place for a perfect holiday.. though room flooring and bathroom could be upgraded a bit.. otherwise a perfect place..
