The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa

It was a bad experience , it’s worse than a 3 star. To mention a few things - 1. Room is shabby, unkept, dusty and dirty 2. No maintenance 3. Shower not working properly 4. Washroom another disaster with the filth and dirt all over 5. The curtains are stained and are ripping off 6. Lizard in the room 7. Expensive for no reason 8. Food is also not upto the standards. 9. Desperately needs refurbishment 10. Changing rooms for the pool was in a mess and no one to clean it

Since there's no option to give a lower rating, I'm forced to give them 1 star. The customer service is extremely disappointing, and they have goons like Ratnesh and Ajita who behave unprofessionally. The entire resort was running with no senior managers to take care of guests request. Upon our arrival at around 2:10 PM (Checkin time 3PM)—a perfectly reasonable time for check-in—we were rudely denied early check-in, despite informing the reservation desk in advance that we were traveling with a baby. To make matters worse, two goons Ratnesh, Ajita, and other staff members displayed a complete lack of courtesy, refusing to engage respectfully and using inappropriate language. They even denied giving us contact details of their General Manager Nivedita Avasthi, as we wanted to make a complaint. Upon our arrival, we also witnessed two other guests being granted early check-in without any issues. However, Ratnesh informed us that preference is given to guests with higher room categories, implying that we were treated differently and denied early check-in due to our room choice. Is this truly how the hotel operates—discriminating against guests based on the room category they’ve booked? This kind of preferential treatment is completely unacceptable and goes against the very principles of hospitality. This lead us to leave the hotel without staying ruining what was meant to be a special occasion: my wife's birthday.

We have been coming annually to Westin Sohna for few years now. This property suits us quite well. It is only 30-40 minutes from Gurgaon city, no issues in accessing the property when you are self driving (via Gmaps). I strongly think the staff here works in unison way to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. As always, check in was smooth. We got very well attended in the restaurant by the FnB team (Ms. Shin, Ms. Than, Mr. Chirag and Sous-Chefs Mr. Pritam and Mr. Saurabh). For me, the FnB is crown jewel of this property. Not to undermine the other departments, their housekeeping staff is very attentive as we did have issues initially upon checking in but got sorted very quickly thanks to Mr. Keshav and Ms. Komal (Guest relations). Our kids always look forward to enjoy the mini zoo time and swimming pool (ofcourse the yummy food also). Met Mr. Yogesh (from pool and fitness) and he was very attentive and careful with all the special needs of the pool users. One thing I would like them to work on is to get the swings, slides ready near the indoor playing /swimming pool area. Again, overall Fantastic property and wish them lots of success in the future.

Mr. Yogesh has shown exceptional dedication to enhancing our hotel's cycling information. Their deep knowledge of cycling techniques and safety standards has led to the development of tailored programs that cater to all levels, resulting in high guest satisfaction. They maintain equipment meticulously and have introduced innovative cycling classes that have become very popular. Their collaborative approach with the wellness team has further enriched the guest experience. A focus on enhancing communication during busy periods would help streamline operations. Overall, their efforts have significantly elevated our cycling offerings, making it a standout feature of our fitness services.

I had a great time with my family. The hospitality was perfect. Staff were friendly, helpful and supportive ( Specially Mr. Yogesh from gym area, nice guy ). Amenities were great, my kid enjoyed horse riding and animal keeping. Food was really amazing are real thumbs up to all the chefs and staff. 4 out of 5 is cause of the room’s AC was not working and room’s need to be renovate. Overall good experience and will definitely visit again.

Lush green deep forest look beautiful clean swimming pools food delicious. Best part was took round of Resort in Golf Cart. Staff very humble cooperative. There are many good locations for selfie and photography. We have made reel of surroundings of this resort but don, t know how To upload. Enjoyed trip on 22.7.2024

Luxurious comfortable stay , pet friendly property. Huge area, restaurants, swimming pool , bathtub , play zone, farm animals , golf kart , everything just perfect. Cottages with beautiful view and garden sit out area, glass bathroom roof to have a view while you enjoy your bubble bath, canopy beds , living area and more than i can explain. I have stayed twice at this beautiful property.

Stayed here for 2 nights during an offsite. The property is great, with well designed rooms, good level of cleanliness and large green spaces. It is great for company offsites and retreats. Excellent option for family getaways also. Location is odd and you are limited to the activities and excursions offered at the property. Food was quite terrible overall and would not be justified at even half the prices being charged. Finally, the level of service was poor. Most of the staff were not management staff was inattentive and indifferent. The non-management staff on the other hand, were more cheerful and helpful. Unlikely to visit again. Not at these prices and certainly not with this sort of food and service on offer.

This was my second stay at this lavish property. Very well maintained with huge sprawling green spaces, a small area for birds, a lake , outdoor and indoor games a shop, spa and lavish villas to stay ! Bathroom of the villa was huge and glass rooftop added to its beauty. However one sink was leaking. Both the Pools were big and very well maintained. Buffet Breakfast spread was very good with a huge variety. Only drawback was that cycling facility was available without many cycles actually available as we could see so many lying needing repair, and hampering the availability, which was not expected from Westin ! Overall highly recommended for weekend getaway from NCR.
