Sude Beach Resort

It’s tough to find a nice thing to say about this place. I dislike being this negative, but.. (1) The room was not ready when I arrived at 22h45, nearly 8 hours after the official check-in time (15h / 3pm). How? Worst of all, when I left after waiting for 30 mins, they told me afterwards it was my fault. They said “I just needed to wait 5 more minutes” after the first 5 mins took 30 mins. (2) The room is dirty. Every corner feels - and looks - nasty. There was a random plastic bag and an empty water bottle in my room (?) (3) The entire hotel is so unfinished. The walls are cracking left and right. Dry paint is on the floor in the hallway. Edges of the floor are unfinished. It’s like you’re staying in a construction area. (4) The rooms are way different vs described. I was supposed to have a large room with 2 beds and a desk. Instead, I had a room with 1 bed, and a random chair in the corner of the room. (5) Curtains are too small, they only cover about 70% of the window/balcony. So it’s always light. (6) Clearly the room was a smoking room. They tried to mask it a bit but yeah, it’s obvious. I guess the only nice thing is what they actually did not make themselves: the sea. It’s right at the water. That’s about the only positive. Besides that: if you want to save, go ahead. Close your eyes. Otherwise, it’s pretty disappointing.
