Hotel Heevan Retreat

In the entire Kashmir, this is the hotel where my entire family was happy with respect to out stay, foods, room heating and services rendered by the front desk and restaurant management. We took a suit (18) and took an extra bed. Slept peacefully for a whole 8 hours each night and enjoyed the food customised for us by Chef Mr. Jamdaz Khan under the leadership of Restaurant Manager Md. Ashraf. The security staff, front desk, and housekeepers were all cordial and helpful. The property, garden, view from room and restaurant all are beautiful. Would like to go back again and recommend others.

Cosy and comfortable place to stay. Nice views of the snow capped peaks. Good place for families with kids. Close to Gondola. Courteous and caring staff. Shabir Ah Khan and M. Ashraf took good care of us and served us a delicious wazwan. Wonderful stay!

I recently stayed at Heaven Retreat, and it was an outstanding experience. The property is stunning, with a serene atmosphere that makes it a perfect getaway. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of dishes that catered to all tastes. A special mention to Mr. Riyaz at the front desk—his warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable and Gondola ride is in walkable distance 800 meters. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious stay!

Very good hotel with excellent service. Rooms are comfortable with balcony. Bathroom is very nice and have. 24 hour hour water. In hotel have central hiting. Food in restaurant is very delicious . All staff is helpful friendly and respectful

Staff is very kind and respectful. Property and the view from here is beautiful. Food is also good. Place is clean and hygienic. Place looks like an authentic heritage building. I would highly recommend staying here, it is nearby all the major activities in gulmarg.

Settled between the meadows and lush cedar trees of Gulmarg, is the idyllic and homey Heevan Retreat. The hotel is an instant reminder of a cozy winter lodge, featuring wooden panels and slanted roofs. The rooms are the definition of comfortable, snuggly, and welcoming: consisting of a large and restful bed that is ideal for sound sleep, additionally consisting of cloud-like pillows and lamp shades perfect for creating a charming dimmed look or perfect for reading late at night. The bathrooms have necessary amenities and a sleek shower and washroom: modern and comfortable. Beyond the vast glass windows in every room, is a view precious forever (my favorite part of my stay), not only do you watch breathtaking sunsets and sunrises from the comfort of your room, and enjoy the view of the mountains and soldiering trees (with a cup of chai and snack of course) but you also hear the soft chirping of birds and faint breezes of the wind, which are some of the most comforting and relaxing sounds. Every room has a heater and cooling fans, as well the availability of hot and cold water (perfect for every weather condition) Another note worthy part of this hotel is the impeccable staff, who are always there to make your already comfortable and cozy stay even better and just how you like it! They helped us transport all our luggage from our taxi to our rooms without hesitance, and as we got comfortable in our room they asked us right away if there was anything we would like to improve our experience. Helpful and kind; the perfect words to describe the staff you will meet. I have 0 complaints of this place in all honesty, it met my every expectation and more. My favorite parts were the: natural wood fragrance, faint sounds of nature, and cozy lodge-like atmosphere. To sum it all up, this hotel was the definition of coziness and the ideal place to stay for a comfortable and idyllic experience. I highly recommend this place (and I really want to visiting Kashmir once again: mostly to stay here and enjoy the natural beauty).
