THE TRAIN~ The Mississippi Gulf Coast has a railroad track running parallel to the beach for the entire Southeast section of the state. Simply put: Close to Beach = Train. This means that ALL the homes in this part of the world hear the train rumble by and the loud train whistle blow. Trains run several times daily, and during the night, too.
