Arrived omin Faro on a late flight, got to Bayside about 12.30am place was in darkness. Eventually a security gaurd appeared, showed us to our apartment which was up a narrow staircase, would feel sorry for anyone older, or with any physical restrictions and no way to complain as nobody on reception. Apartment was very basic, we opted for a one bed apartment. There was no sockets in the bedroom which was a big inconvenience. Some of our lights didnt work, and our TV also didnt work. When we complained, nobody came to fix it. Balcony was quite large which was nice. We qoke to aunts all over the sink and worktop even though no food in the apartment. We complained twice and nobody came. Breakfast was minimal but tasty. No dinner service until July which was not stated whem booking. Snacks available, cheaper snack bar next door with lovely owners. Our sheets were not changed in the 7 days we were there. Theyre was no night entertainment, but old town is €6 bolt ride away. Aunts were all over bathtoom floor the last 3 days of our stay. I dont like giving bad reviews, but this was very disapointing.

Amazing hotel,staff very friendly and helpful very clean. The grounds are immaculate ideally located for old town and beach will definatly book again night time entertainment fun and friendly . reception available to book taxis or any trips you may want to visit

Myself and my husband arrived on Thursday 27th and from the moment we stepped inside we were made feel so welcome. Hotel was quiet as it was last week of season but this certainly did not effect the service we received. We were so well looked after by Tieago in the bar, a nicer person you could not meet, also we were very lucky to meet Luis before she finished up for weekend. Food & Drink - Excellent and very reasonably priced. Room - Spacious, very comfy beds and spotlessly clean.

Staff great. cleaning spotless. Apartments very good.only critisism is kitchen not very well equipped. ie no cutting board. No corkscrew. Not enough storage space. No bread knife. No grater. Only cheap 2ring cooker. Occasional entertainment good. Karaoke. Quiz. Bingo.hosted by the very likeable John. €3 for bowl of chips very nicely cooked and good value. Bottle Of Sagress€2.

Had a fantastic time short city break hotel staff couldn't be more friendly clean apartment would highly recommend this place to stay Will be coming back for longer holiday 👍👍 The main town is a short taxi ride where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from..

Went on a last minute break to surprise my Aunt, Uncle and cousin . The gentleman on reception even moved my room so I could be near them . Fairly quiet hotel which suited me . Quiet music playing in the background by the pool which was lovely . Did go in September though so only a couple of children there who were so well behaved . The people who worked at the hotel were so friendly which was lovely . My room was perfect for me , spotlessly clean as were all areas in the hotel . You have all you need in the room . Kettle , fridge , hob if you fancy cooking . Breakfast is bacon , sausages , eggs , beans and toast . Different pastries each morning , cereal , coffee , tea and juices and melon . Perfect . If you want a meal it is basic like burger and chips , pizza etc but were lovely meals. I drink cocktails and they were 8 euros each , they are very generous with the amount of alcohol they put in . The beach is about a 15 minute walk and it’s worth the walk , just beautiful. Thai massages on the beach which were amazing . A small supermarket about a 10 minute walk away . Not much around the area but the hotel do have a bus going to Old Town that leaves at about 10am and comes back at 3pm . We got a taxi as there were 4 of us and that was only 10 / 12 Euros each way . There is a lovely restaurant about a 10 minute walk away but you do have to book in advance as very popular . Weather was just right in September . Did have a couple of nights of entertainment there , Race night and Karaoke which were fun . I was only there 5 nights so missed one night and can’t remember what it was . It’s about 45/60 minutes from the airport depending on drop offs etc . Plenty of sunbeds , no need to reserve them and people were following the rules that if you aren’t going to be there for half an hour you don’t leave your towels on them . Such a relaxing and chilled holiday and without a doubt I would go back in a heartbeat .

We booked through Wowcher so were worried about the hotel but we were pleasantly surprised. The room is very clean and the beds comfy. The shower was one of the best we’ve ever used abroad. Reception are very helpful; they brought us an extra pillow and helped us book a boat trip. The room is cleaned everyday. The food at the bar is reasonably priced. The Uber to Old Town was €9.

Wow!! For the price this was perfect, clean and ideal in every way. Friendly staff, nice bar and pool area as well as ideally located for 10 min Uber into centre of old town. I will certainly look to return asap - Albufeira is stunning, cheap and mainly unspoilt 🇵🇹👍🏼☀️😎
