We didn’t stay at this hotel but had dinner one night when skiing in the area. At first we had a drink in the bar while waiting for the restaurant to open. Already at this point the bartender was impolite and ignoring. We had a reservation and got our table. We had to wait a long time before we could order from a very stressed waiter. Of course we had some questions about the menu but got very rude answers. We could see that it was a busy night for the staff but still, if you work as a waiter you should be able to handle this. I don’t remember when we had such a bad experience at a restaurant as we had this night.

It's hard when you find a gem of a hotel like the Hotel Dufour, as you don't want too many people to find out about it! We can not give enough praise for this excellently run hotel by Emanuela and the team. It's was our 5th year last week and we were treated to an excellent stay, again. The rooms are excellent, the food is excellent, the staff are excellent. So much so that we have booked for a 2 week stay next year! The resort is not for everyone, its small, friendly with very little Apres. So if you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you to stay. See you next year to everyone at the Hotel Dufour and Thank you!

Hotel has fine Sauna department, but lousy kitchen. Breakfast was very basic one and supper was even worse. I cannot understand how cheese plate or green salad could be vegetarian main course. Service was also very slow. It took two hours every evening to serve very this humble supper. Otherwise Hotel Dufour was good. Perfect location, nice Spa and cozy rooms.

Superior rooms are spacious and decor is nice and modern. Housekeeping is great and rooms are kept clean as are the communal areas. Plenty of storage. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive and lots of choices. Evening service was rather slow and food variable. Some dishes were excellent, but some fell a bit short of expectations.

Fabulous cosy hotel with great facilities and fabulously close to the chair lift! The dining room was extremely charming, with great options every day. Free yoga every evening as well! We also had loys of fun in the games area with the table football!

Great friendly and cosy hotel. Located right at the lift to enjoy Monterosa resort. Excellent service. Dinner with local/international dishes. You can enjoy the local villages along the valley and the beautiful views over the mountains. Monterosa is a well prepared resort, perfect for expert or beginners.

This hotel was great, with the friendliest staff! Food was great. They even lent us some things when our bags were delayed! The village was charming and location perfect for skiing. Will definitely come back! Thanks to you all.

This is the 2nd year that I’ve stayed in DuFour and I can’t recommend it enough. The location is great, few steps to the ski lift. Staff are the nicest ever, and so helpful with everything. Wifi is great for anyone working from home. Food is also sensational, and breakfast I could never get bored of it. See you next year DuFour

Very charming and cosy located a couple of meters away from the ski lift or with direct access to staffal with the shuttle. Nice and freshly renovated rooms.
