The Belmont 1857

This is a treasure of a BnB and one of my most favorites we’ve ever stayed in. Brad is exactly the kind of person who should be running such a wonderful property! He met us on arrival and showed us to our room in the Apothecary Suite behind the main house. He was also a delightful conversationalist at breakfast and during the free moments we chatted with him. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the history of the house conversation you can sit in on after breakfast was informative and entertaining. The Belmont truly is such a gorgeous and thoughtful experience from the moment you arrive until you leave, and we would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!!

My mom and I stayed at the Belmont Plantation B&B on our way to Natchez to celebrate her 90th birthday. The house and grounds are so beautiful with lots of period pieces decorating each room. Even though it is was elegant and like stepping back in time, it was also very cozy and felt like home. Brad, the owner, has done a wonderful job decorating this home. He was very friendly, informative and welcoming. Breakfast was the best we had our whole trip. It was my mom’s favorite meal on our trip. It was nice to have the ability to have a room that was on the bottom floor so my mom didn’t have to worry about the stairs. The claw foot tub in our room was perfect for my mom, who doesn’t like showers. The porches with rocking chairs were a nice touch and there was also an adorable cat named Captain, who greeted us every time we sat out on the porch. Thank you to Brad for a lovely visit. I have told all of my friends about this place and recommend this for anyone traveling through the Greenville, MS area.

The Belmont takes you back in time but with modern amenities that make you feel cozy and pampered! The beds are so comfortable, and you won’t find a cleaner place. The breakfast is to die for! Brad's home will truly feel like home to you for the duration of your stay. So quiet and peaceful!

The Belmont 1857 was a beautiful place to stay. Well kept up and a nice place. The owner of the home is very friendly and welcoming. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history from the home and area. I would highly recommend staying here.

Came in for a long weekend and it was like we had walked into paradise. Chatting with Brad was like catching up with an old friend. The accommodations were top notch and the breakfast was fabulous. He shares the history of the house at breakfast and at check in. Cannot recommend staying here enough. Spent the entire first day on the property reading in different areas of the house. Given the opportunity to head this way again, we will definitely be back.

Loved everything about our stay at this beautiful antebellum plantation home! From the gorgeous furnishings, to the delicious food and the delightful conversation with Brad…it was simply wonderful!
