This is part of the Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation & Awareness Centre. We stayed in a Lion Lodge, with a date night experience. There were petals on the bed and was a 3 course dinner. We could hear the lions roaring which was incredible. The team were incredibly friendly and we then stayed for a tour the next day. The work that they do here to rehabilitate animals and make sure they are safe is inspirational.

Tenikwa is such a wonderful stay, I would recommend it to anyone passing. The facilities are all great, the room was exceptionally clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was yummy and the bonus is all the amazing animals you can see while you’re there. It was a wonderful stay

Amazing work being done here. We stayed in a lion Lodge and did full behind the scenes experience with an amazing guide. An honour to be here. Great accommodation and food. Knowledgeable staff all friendly and professional. Thank you

The staff at Tenikwa are friendly and hard working. Davidson prepares meals of quality. The team works hard to make sure rooms are ready and clean. The guides are good with kids and know their animals.

We had an excellent private tour with Boniwe who was very kind, knowledgeable and clearly had a lot of love for the animals at the sanctuary. We also had lovely stay at the accommodation with a delicious dinner. Davidson and the team looked after us very well. Room was clean and they were well prepared for load shedding.

Wonderful big cat experience. Animals are well cared for and our tour guide Boniwe was very knowledgeable and good with the animals. We were there for feeding time and it was fantastic to see the cats eating. Servals, lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, African wild cats, tortoises, Maribou storks, penguins, and meerkats (!) - so many species to see. We were lucky enough to experience a dinner on site, with local specialties. Food was delicious and we were treated to a singing performance by the staff.

A last minute booking while on a family visit nearby, the accommodation in the rooms was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are beautifully furnished and set up, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Food and drinks in the boma nearby in the evening and breakfast in the morning were great, served by all the staff. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. being able to hear the lion roaring in the night and morning; and the birds and monkeys in the nearby attractions only enhanced the experiences. The only difficulty was that our stay was too short!

A wonderful place with very caring staff. The animals were well looked after and our guide was very knowledgeable. We were able to go into many cages wirh sme of the wild cats. There were meerecat and tortoises. The white lion is stunning.

Un séjour très agréable a Tenikwa. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et aux petits soins. Le lieu est paisible et le logement très agréable. Un plaisir de participer a la cause du lieu en séjournant la bas.merci
