Sally on the desk 10/10 receptionist worth the money to stay would recommend to everyone so friendly and caring just amazing

Only room we could get due to all other hotels in the area being fully booked for the British Gymnastics event at the International Centre. Had to pay an eye watering amount for two nights which is disappointing as the room was stupidly hot and the AC would only work for a few mins at a time before cutting off and the three lights flashing on the unit into the room all night long, not great when your wife has epilepsy! But it’s ok they supplied a fan!! Which just circulates the warm air! Can’t have the window open more than a few inches for safety reasons but then again you have a bar/club open all night in to the early hours so you get to hear the drinking shouting and swearing as it happens. Staff all smoke and love sitting just outside the front sliding door, cigarette butts littered there too. No one ever on the reception desk. Stick to pricing your rooms for what they are worth (£35-£45) not the £130 ish per night we paid.. won’t be coming again.

Everything is in your door step, plenty of restaurants to eat, bowling alley, the park behind the hotel. Carpark is a bit of a walk but cheaper than other nearby carpark. Rooms are clean and great, AC not working but provided a fan. Staff were helpful even though people are hot and bothered . Will be back again as it’s conveniently located on everything.

It has been amazing over at thidhotel. The hotel receptions, Amy and Sammy have been amazing. They are very easy to speak to very welcoming.

I stay at this Travelodge a couple of times a month just because I like the location. Concrete jungle Town centre outside the door, or park and huge woodland walks that they must have sunk millions in to. I have got to know the staff well over time who are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially the Supervisor Amhie Shamley. She is very helpful as I have mild autism which sometimes makes simple things difficult, so I just go and "annoy" Amhie and she always makes time to help me out and makes me feel really welcome.

Great service from reception, Amelou was very helpful. Hotel was clean, room was what I expected. My only negative about this hotel is that make sure you get a room looking over the lake, last time the room was over looking the bar’s and was quite noisy but I asked to be in a room on other side of the hotel and Amelou happily obliged.
