Ashfield House

For those whom haven’t visited the stunning village of Grassington. You’re missing out on one pretty place. And a step back in time. We were lucky enough to arrive when they were filming “ All Creatures Great And Small” People and actors dressed their appropriate attire….costumes for what period they were filming. And old vehicles here and there, which was brilliant. We were booked in at Ashfield House. Just after the Devonshire pub, turn left up a small but lovely driveway, and around the back to a lovely little car park. On entry was met with a warm a friendly welcome. Taken to a room that overlooked a beautiful well looked after garden. The room was stunning, with a king size bed. Facilities for making hot drinks, tea,coffee, & hot chocolate. The bathroom was also stunning and very clean. The room had everything you needed. At breakfast, the tables were well spaced apart, and had a great array of different serials, as well as cooked dishes. We had the Yorkshire full breakfast. And it was delicious. We will definitely come and visit this place again. Thanks so much for your hospitality. Mr & Mrs D Moore. ❤️

Fantastic b&b in a central location in the village.. the room was excellent with access to a small outside area on the first floor and came with complimentary Prosecco and cakes. the b&b also has a lovely garden area with tables to sit at and they also serve up a great breakfast.. when we are next back in Grassington we will almost certainly book the Ashfield..

Excellent customer service with some lovely, thoughtful extras. Staff very friendly and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Location great for exploring the Dales and breakfast very tasty, if a little early finish for a Sunday. Price very reasonable for the level of care taken.

Stayed for 1 night whilst walking the Dales Way and had a brilliant time..Our room was lovely..spacious ..clean and had everything you needed for a great overnighter.The old building was amazing set in the heart of the lovely village of Grassington..fab gardens..a cosy lounge with treats and an honesty bar too.The breakfast the next morning was so tasty and set us up well for a full days hiking..Lynne our host was lovely .friendly..informative and made us feel really welcome even helping us out with our overweight rucksacks!! It was much appreciated..We would highly recommend this amazing accommodation to anyone..

Absolutely faultless. Spotless rooms and bathrooms with lovely toiletries, beautiful fresh white linen on a comfortable bed, friendly and accommodating staff and a breakfast up there with the best. Will certainly return the next time we are over that way.

What a superb place. loads of character, staff bubbly and friendly. perfect location great honesty bar. Breakfast exceptional. If you start the day hungry its your fault. We will be back. Love to all there Owners, staff. 10/10. Ade & Sue Chapman.

The words we used to describe this beautiful old house. Quaint, comfortable, welcoming,clean, well situated. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and the breakfast is next level with locally sourced ingredients. We will definitely visit again thanks.

We want to thank Stephen for accommodating my husband and I on his day off when the B & B I had previously booked had flooded. We were very happy with this lovely B & B with its close location to the centre of town and restaurants, the onsite parking and the beautiful B and B and its lovely back garden. Even though the location is right in the centre of Grassington, it was very quiet and restful. We also want to thank Lynne and her staff for the wonderful breakfasts and their enthusiasm! We would definitely recommend this B & B as a wonderful place to stay. Thank you again from Janis and Dan!

We arrived at Ashfield house on Sunday 25th February for a 2 nights stay and from entering the building the owners were exceptional with everything information etc. The room was very comfortable with all the extras and breakfast list great full english was one of the best ever. I could go on and on but just pay a visit and also see Grassington and the dales. Thank you Ashfield house see you again soon Paul and Sue
