don't stay on the main floor close to the doors as lots of workers stay there. they start leaving around 5 am. will still stay there

I really enjoyed my stay here. Quiet and comfortable:)

Checked in on a Saturday, asked for no smoking room. Great received that but the entire floor was filled with cigarette smoke once opening the stairwell door! So you smell like smoke going into room! The stairwell dirty, the room bathroom door holes! The loud slamming of doors people in stairwell all night in and out, loose dog running in hallway at 230 am to kids playing knock and run like it’s their own home! I understand being evacuated due to wildfires, and government paying hotel stays. But to treat rooms, outside, stairwell like it’s their home and no respect for other’s disappointed! This is no fault of the staff! When I did complain I was moved to another room ( senior ) wing! I’m thankful for! As I did get sleep! Dogs chained up outside to trucks no owners to be found, to staying on ground floor and my screen was trying to be taken out. Again the cleaning staff amazing I would give them 5 stars for effort and trying to keep up with the disrespect of others! The lady supervisor appreciate to switching me rooms! During this time I would not recommend this hotel in GP and I would not be going back! 3 nights I paid for the first one should of been free after everything. This did not happen! Good luck if this is the only place you can stay ! For me it was pet friendly long weekend short notice . Or I would of checked out! First night felt safer in my car to sleep as well as I did not use the elevator!

Walls paper thin, room not cleaned properly. Someone's socks or underwear tucked in the closet by the bed. Which was not seen until late at night. Paid for a queen bed got a double. Bed so saggy even if you moved you ended back up in the same position you were in. Could hear everything as if they were in the same room as us. Anytime anyone used water above us it sounded like water pouring into our room. Asked front desk to call the room next to us as they were yelling at 1230 am.. And no call went to the room.. We could hear everything going on in the room. Bathtub is old and damaged, walls patched with mud to hide spots damaged.. Definitely needs a revamp. When I mentioned a guy walking between vehicles and spending a lot of time at each vehicle I got a oh he must be a guest. We have drones watching the parking lot and the police and security guards that come out.. OK... Doesn't do any good when you report suspicious behavior and nothing is done... Never again we will be staying at a Motel 6 again.

Very good value hotel. Staff are great and friendly. Rooms were clean. Shower was hot. Beds are firm. No breakfast but when you pay under $100 you should expect it. Location is on main drag so easy to get around. It’s a place to stay at. Hotel is mostly filled with workers.

Terrible hotel. Location is near a road used 24/7 by LOUD trucks. Checked in and went to my room. All I could smell was 3 or 4 day old urine. I was able to change rooms. Both rooms had holes in the bathroom door not all the way through. My 2nd room obviously has been used and abused. The bath tub/shower needs some serious work. The plaster is broken in the corners. See photos. I will not stay here again.

my son and I came in from Toronto Ontario. I came along to settle him into new environment and ensure he was comfortable. He is a young firefighter ,coming to Grand Prairie to start his job . When we discovered that the place he pre arranged to stay was not available any more, Andrea at Motel 6 was nice enough to squeeze us in with extended accommodation. But that was not all: she was very understanding with the situation my son fell into , not getting the rental place he had hoped for and so Andrea took my son in without batting an eyelash, extending his welcome for extra time. Thank you Andrea and Motel 6 for making it pleasant friendly and thank you for your kindness, it goes a long way ! When i return to call to make arrangements at Motel 6 in Grand Prairie
