Tante Arlette

It was a great week spent at Tante Arlette hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room nice and comfortable. We loved the restaurant, the food was was one of the top from the fortnight stay in Martinique, I definitely recommend, if you have a trip around the north of the island, for lunch (dinners are only for guests). Lovely stay, in general 😊.

Hotel in Grand Rivière that is quite an experience We stayed one night at Tante Arlette and got a warm welcome and a drink. We had booked a superior room, but were a bit disappointed that it had no external window. The cleaning was also not perfect and there were spots on the madrass. Otherwise the room was ok. We decided to eat at the hotel but were surprised when the food arrived before we had selected from the menu. Apparently what we would eat was decided for us. That said, it tasted great. After the dinner we ordered rom from a local distillery and got the whole bottle to serve us ourself the amount we wanted. Breakfast was also good!

We stayed here overnight on a brief trip to Grand Riviere. Centrally located, there is ample street parking within a few metres walk. Greeted on arrival with a friendly face and a refreshing rum punch drink, all the staff without exception during our stay were very friendly and cheerful. The rooms are simple but bright and welcoming and equipped with air conditioning. Plenty of hot water for the shower. They do provide dinner in the evening for guests but this does have to be booked in advance. Breakfast consists of yoghurt, bread and fresh fruit with a hot drink and juice which we found quite sufficient. The small town itself is interesting and very authentic, not at all geared to tourism. Local people are all very friendly and there is an attractive church to visit. There is a pleasant sea front good for strolling in the evening and a few hundred meters from the centre of town there is a nice beach with a tropical backdrop.

Une très belle découverte pour la partie hébergement, décoration soignée aux couleurs de l environnement pierre,nature,bois.... Un mini espace jacuzzi sur les toits , Des résidents accueillant ,discrets Un personnel à l écoute, bienveillant, souriant accueillant, de l humour, de la créativité, respect , discrétion ... La cuisine : du dîner en passant par le petit déjeuner et déjeuner jusqu'aux boissons : un voyage culinaire aux saveurs et senteurs du terroir ! Merci à Rodolphe pour les dégustations sa créativité , son accueil, don professionnalisme sans oublier le chef ! Et sa brigade

L'accueil de cet établissement reste très moyen. Le personnel n'a manifestement pas été formé à l'accueil du client dans l'hôtellerie... Coté restaurant, les plats sont de bonne présentation mais sans grande saveur. Les prix en rapport restent corrects.

je le conseil à tout ceux qui veulent voir et ressentir les valeurs de la martinique . Acceuil exellent et environement parfait pour s'épannouir en toute sécurité .
