H10 Costa Mogán - Adults Only

The rooftop bar is one of the best parts of the hotel. You have at your seat service and they remember your order (at least Dhevia does) Dhevia is amazing!! Always happy and polite and made our stay just that much better. We look forward to seeing her in the afternoons and now we will be looked after!

Just home after what should have been 11 nights of bliss but it was 9 days of noise & 2 days with no pool. Let’s start with the positives the staff they are all great with the exception of the reception staff. Bar staff, animation, cleaners & gardeners all hard working, polite & helpful. The room no issues apart from noise from the new decking being laid outside our room by the slowest workers ever known to man. Angle grinders and sanders from around 08.30 for 9 days and still going when we left. I could have done the job alone in 2 days. Despite reporting to the reception who kept saying it’ll be finished tomorrow morning & asking what noise as the angle grinder started again. The food a little lacking in choice BUT always something to eat, not a patch on the Radisson Blu up the road especially at Breakfast time. All waiters & waitresses great & the cooks try to engage. Breakfast criticism- the bacon is a very poor quality ,no poached eggs & only had salmon 2 or 3 times in 11 days. Bar staff on all 3 bars great, managed to learn a few new Spanish words & frazes. Only criticism at the bars not enough staff some running around frantically trying to cope & having to wait to get served. Pool when it had water in its deep, luckily I’m six foot so no issues but my 5 foot wife couldn’t touch the bottom. The reception staff twice told us the pool would be full and working “tomorrow morning first thing” no surprise it wasn’t!! The entertainment staff around the pool good fun and they asked if you wanted to join in but left you alone if you wanted to chill. The music is very repetitive and often drowned out by the noise of the angle grinder!! No subbed wars apart from the odd chav who queued up for half an hour to get their beds before disappearing for breakfast for a few hours. Location absolutely nothing to do, I like a walk every day but nowhere to go unless you get on a bus. The Spar shop is handy for anything you need. Would I go again NO. WHY?? location, noise (probably all sorted in a weeks time & being told untrue time scales for work to be completed (manana)

Whilst not a completely bad stay - this is NOT a H10 4 star hotel - i have stayed in many H10's so can say this with confidence. Something I should share as never before on all my travels have I come across this - there are NO COURTSEY rooms - so if going to stay here do not get a late flight back - we had to pay 35 euro to extend our room for 3 hours as had a later flight home !! 5 hours = 55 euros I am a H10 member which was only realised when we checked in - so no welcome drink or gift - they said they would send welcome gift up - but never turned up !! I had emailed hotel in advance to ask for twin beds to be set up - reply was lovely they would ensure this would be the case - no double bed made up when got in room - could not make up as twin beds till the next day . It seems they do not have enough staff - queues for pool bar and bar in the evening - sometimes just one member of staff servicing. The pictures on the website - don't be fooled -- the second pool is for the apartments next door. The lovely Adult only La Riviera Beach Club - costs 35 euros too for the day. 2 restaurants - the Costa Fusion Restaurant we could not get in - plus it was closed Saturday and Sunday - so bit of a con really The shower in the middle of the room - a bit bizarre but it does show you this on the website - you only get a towel bath mat which gets very wet as our shower leaked so would recommend bringing your own non slip bath matt as the floor gets wet. Still not sure about the skink design - will post a picture. Maintenance work still being done near the pool during the day so a bit noisy - but the only pool side toilet (yes there were queues) had live wires hanging down from the roof The only thing that saved the holiday was the day entertainment team, Christian especially , the night time entertainment - is just different ladies singing - a bit 1980's really !! Feel let down by H10 as have always trusted the brand before now

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The junior suites were modern and comfortable with a fantastic view. The food was good with different themes every night. We stayed half board and the drinks were reasonably priced. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The animation team were fantastic especially Christian. There were always sunbeds available. Nice coastal walk to Puerto Rico. Easy access to local bus. Loved it.

I loved this hotel.. the 'Superior Junior suite' had a strange layout.. shower in the bedroom, but it was spotlessly clean and had an amazing view of the ocean and pool. Food was plentiful, a little samey at times.. but lots of choice and excellent staff. Entertainment for a small hotel was very good.. the staff were just lovely and worked so hard. Drinks were great.. no short measures. Atmosphere was laid back and leisurely.. your can do as much or as little as your want! If you're looking for a wild time.. keep looking.. this place was just chilled, relaxing and calm.

Good clean hotel. We had a junior suite which was great as it had its own terrace with sunbeds, parasol and table and chairs which led directly to the pool with sea views. Bed comfy, however pull out bed very uncomfortable, shower room and toilet not very private as all glass with frosted glass on the bottom half and water leaked into main room, however good powerful shower just be careful of shower tray as lethal when wet. You can get a mat apparently. Coffee machine and kettle in room but only enough coffee and milk for 1 drink, I had read this previously so did take our own but having said that good tea and coffee machine at pool bar. Bars are staffed by only one person most of the time so you do have to queue, cocktails excellent and self serve on beer and soft drinks at pool bar, roof top bar really nice with fabulous views of the sea. Food very good but not always hot, we found that you needed to be in there for 7pm as very busy and not always a table available and desserts are not replenished. Waiting on staff work very hard in clearing tables. Overall a good experience with excellent staff.
