My friend and I enjoyed a really wonderful stay in this hotel. From the moment we arrived we instantly felt relaxed, and in awe of the beautiful outlook of the hotel. Nestled between both gorgeous mountains and the sea, this boutique-bohemian style resort has both gorgeous interior and exterior with really well thought out design and decor. It also has an incredibly private feel and you can easily spend a week here, although I would recommend 7 nights is plenty. Whilst the hotel is busy, it strikes the perfect balance of not feeling too crowded nor too quiet; you can still enjoy privacy whilst also enjoying a nice buzz and atmosphere. In terms of food, there is the main buffet restaurant plus an al a carte which you can book at no extra cost. If you decide to dine in the al la carte more than once then there is an additional fixed cost per head of €30 which is very reasonable. We found the al la carte to be ok, with nice menu choices although it wasn’t as good as other al a carte restaurants we’ve experienced in other resorts before - there is potential for the hotel to make this much more premium in terms of menu choice. However the buffet restaurant food is exceptional in that there is plenty of choice and the food is incredibly fresh, a real stand-out. I especially loved the charcoal grill which did delicious meat such as kofte and lamb chops. The hotel offers included entertainment which are unique in nature when compared to other resorts. For example, if you are wanting a break from the sun, you can do bag painting, or if you’re wanting to start your morning on the sea you can do paddle boarding which we loved. The paddle boarding lasts around 2.5 hours and starts from 6:30am, and you are taken into the most gorgeous bay where you stop for tea and coffee - a real highlight of the trip! In the evenings, the hotel comes alive. There is live music and entertainment every night, with different musicians and bands playing. I must say, the music sets we saw were of such high calibre you would pay good money to see the artists. There is no mediocre karaoke vibe here. In addition, once the music artists completed their sets, the hotel’s resident DJ would then start their set and again, they are incredibly talented and really got the mood going. Whilst the evenings are lively, this is done very elegantly in that if you’re not wanting to part-take or fancying an early night you still can with little disturbance. There is a decent well equipped gym facility which my friend and I enjoyed using most day. There are also coached classes such as yoga, Pilates and TRX, alongside a tennis court that you can use free of charge. Hidden amongst the resort is the most tranquil spa, where you feel transported into Bali, with beautiful banana trees and outside massage huts. The staff are very friendly and attentive without being too in your face. They work very hard as well but are happy, smiley and upbeat. We booked a Deluxe room which I would highly reco
