"A beautiful hotel in a great location in Görlitz. We understand that achieving 100% cleanliness in the rooms isn't easy. We did notice a few minor things, for example, both toothbrush glasses were dirty. The breakfast selection is limited."

"We were on a city trip to Görlitz and looking for a centrally located hotel. The hotel reportedly reopened in 2024. Early check-in was possible, and the friendly lady at the front desk took the time to show us the room and the facilities. The room was newly renovated, the beds were comfortable, and the pillow selection was excellent. Complimentary water and a Nespresso machine were provided in the room. The room was very clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was decent, with everything fresh and well-arranged in buffet style. The staff were very friendly! The location on the Upper Market Square was ideal. Parking directly at the market square was acceptable at 10 Euros for a day ticket. The breakfast room features historical murals, which were a real highlight."

"After 11 years, we decided again – without notice – again for the Hotel Europa when we stayed in Görlitz now, and the decision was hardly regrettable. The location is good: in the old center, less than ten minutes walk from the station. A well renovated and modernised historic building. Clean rooms, sufficiently large and attractively equipped – mainly with good beds. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Breakfast is good but not impressive: only a bread range, no bread. Cheese and cut very "visible" in the offer. Our room was quiet, not on the street, but behind. But right below our room (2.Etage) is a terrace on which guests sat late to night and spoke loudly and laughing so we found it hard to rest. Therefore: a good overall impression, but with small shortcomings."

"Rooms are very small and equipped with an old furniture. On the balcony there are 2 chairs and a wooden table, hardly colored without kitchens and so on. At the price of the room and the 4 stars I expected something else and was really shocked for the first time. The minibar is available but empty. Alternatively, a machine in the corridor "out-operated". Restaurant was closed because no cook is available. We are more often on the way in the hotel and according to my personal experience would be justified for a maximum of 1 star. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Unfortunately, I was misled by the positive reviews. Nothing of them we found on the site."

"We booked this hotel after our previous booking elsewhere was cancelled 2 days before travel. The hotel is about a 12 minute walk from the station and a 4 minute walk from the Old Town which suited us fine. It’s a very interesting old building on a quiet street. Our double room was very big with a vestibule, bathroom sleeping area and dining area. It had a fridge and hot plate but no kettle. However you can get tea and coffee downstairs at any time. There is also a large fridge downstairs which operates as an honesty bar. Our breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of breads, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, salads , yogurts and fruit plus scrambled eggs. I would definitely stay there again"
